Everyone from the valet, the Maître d', the bartender, the bussers & waiters are so great... Professional yet lighthearted, funny, knowledgeable & efficient. The food is truly spectacular. Delicious old world Italian with a creatively updated spin, to suit a modern palette. Our family has been coming here for years. Our last visit was to celebrate our mom's birthday at the end of August. They made her feel like a queen! It was truly wonderful!
Twas the night before Thanksgiving....who wanted to go out...? Recently, I was asked what was my favorite italian restaurant on Long Island. We’ve been coming to Franina for years but I never posted anything until now. The food is excellent and the presentation is elegant and creative. Check out the Frutti di Mare. It could have been plated like most other restaurants do which is a pile of seafood on a few large leaves of romaine. But at Franina, it’s a work of art and absolutely delicious.
