My Fiancé l live in Huntington Beach about 15 minutes away from Owen’s Tacos. We decided to try this place and as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the person behind the counter who was very attentive, probably the owner. Any ways, with so many things to chose from we decided to try the steak nachos and hamburger with fries. Let me say that we were very impressed with the service and quality of food. The nachos had good size pierces of steak and the whole plate was delicious. The hamburger you could tell was seasoned inside and it tasted amazing, you will not be disappointed if you like Latin American style hamburgers. We also had the Horchata drink which is a typical Central American grain based sweet water drink. Amazing!

I had heard good things about Owen’s and when I was driving by tonight, I decided to take out from there! Let me just say, it was the best burrito I have ever had. I was so impressed.As far as the actual restaurant is concerned, I love that you can see the kitchen and let me just tell you, it is beyond clean.Finally, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, which definitely adds to the five star review.If you want a super causal, but fun and reliable place to enjoy some excellent Mexican food, this is the place.

When walking in, you get a good Mexican vibe. The decor is very festive. Unfortunately, the food did not match the decor. I had 2 Al Pastor flour tortilla tacos and an order of pork chorizo nachos. To start, the food was done too quickly, which means it's just sitting there and it wasn't hot. The menu is really nice. The tacos come with guacamole, but it is more of a guacamole paste. The price point is fitting for the neighborhood. Not too expensive, but not cheap eats either. The great customer service allows me to be calm about this review. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to shake being disappointed.

The food itself is a reason to keep coming back, but what is promised to be a 30-40 Minute Delivery Time takes consistently over an hour. The last several times we have ordered food, it has taken a considerable amount of time. The food is cold each time upon delivery. Will keep ordering from here as even cold, the food is better than any where in the area. Need to do a better job with cutting delivery times down. Hopefully the owner can take constructive criticism. Thanks for the great food otherwise!

I never thought something could taste good and feel healthy, but this place did it. Had a burrito and taco and they were fresh and great tasting and I don't feel bad having ate it!

I love this little hole in the wall! On first impression, it doesn't look like much and it seems kind of tucked away in a little shopping center. But once you enter, all of that changes. I'm always greeted with a friendly face here and I am always satisfied with my meal! I come here often for burritos and the owner is outstanding and accommodating. Always eager to serve exactly what you want and the food is always fresh and top notch tasty. If you're vegan and looking for a quick hearty bite, you can customize your meal according to your diet. I'm getting hungry now just thinking about it!

Coupons galore in the paper (in the shop) and the staff didnt make eye contact, nor did they have the time to care while they were on their phones throughout my experience.I did notice there were flies, and there were lack of gloves use, I worry since recent events of other places that had issues. Maybe i am too worried but i dont want to get ill. Parking is the toughest i have ever experienced outside of nyc. The lot only opens on one side, the ability to turn your vehicle around is nearly impossible.My chicken was hard from being overcooked, there were extra charges for things local places include with the tacos, burritos. Hope they can get better as its close to the train station and within walking distance of the public bus

Where have you been all my life! Just tried the Chile Rellenos and some tacos with two of my colleagues. You guys are fantastic and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Ordered take out. Tacos are authentic and delicious.Chicken quesadilla has perfect spices and blend of everything in it. Guacamole awesome balance of cilantro and lime. Can't wait to try more!

Went today for a quick taco. Didn't have time to really sample the menu, so we asked the young lady behind the counter for her favorite item, which my wife and I both ordered. The food was DELICIOUS! And when we expressed how pleased we were the young lady said she was waiting to see what we thought. That level of caring about the food is what makes a business successful. Place was also spotless. We are definitely going back with bigger appetites. 100% recommend! Our area NEEDS little places like this where people care about the food and their customers.
