The Short Rib Mushroom Risotto was decent, could have had a more unique flavor. The scotch egg was also a nice touch to my meal. The staff were busy and overwhelmed with Easter but they eventually and fairly got to me with my requests. Overall a good

I was excited to try their chicken bibimbap bowl. The pictures of it looked delicious. I believe I was one of the first people in for lunch when they opened and it came out pretty quickly. However I was very surprised and disappointed at the state of the food that I received. I paid 20 bucks for the half chicken bibimbap and it was not giving worth 20 dollars... The rice was undercooked but greasy to the point that it was leaking through the container and into the bag. And the chicken thighs just looked grey and unseasoned. Couldn't even get through a couple bites. Super expensive for what they're putting out. The only good about this meal were the bean sprouts and shaved carrots they gave as toppings. It was the only thing I could eat!

I took my husband to dinner here for his birthday, everything was sooooo good! Our server was attentive, the food was great, the manager was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend the sirloin with garlic mashed, the duck poutine, and the chocolate flourless tort ? this was our first time there, we will definitely be going back!

We had dinner a few weeks ago before going to Symphoria. I wrote a review on Rest felt like it deserved more. Our meals were fantastic. We shared the pod belly appetizer which was cooked to perfection and the buns were delicious. We shared a Caesar salad followed by the pork loin entree and mushroom risotto. It was a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back again. Thank you 317!!

I loved the intimate atmosphere of this restaurant, in a historic Syracuse building. The menu was diverse and included a vegan option (I understand their menu changes, but it seemed there was something for everyone from the choices presented). The beer and wine list was small, but also with a good range of options (no spirits due to location close to a church as per NYS law). Our appetizer and entrees arrived very quickly and our waiter was pleasant, professional, and attentive. The food was excellent with one exception- both of us noted that our food was not completely hot when it arrived. It was warmish. I ordered chicken bibimap, which could not really be re-heated because of the mix of fresh ingredients. Nonetheless it was delicious. I thought the prices were very fair for the quality of the food. The other cold factor was the restaurant itself. It was on the chilly side. I am naturally always cold, but I noticed a few other diners wearing their jackets throughout dinner, as I did. So turn up the temperature on all fronts and this would have been a 5/5 experience!

Our first time here and we will return again. Great atmosphere in a cozy place. We had a rather long talk with our waitress who turned out to be the co owner. Parking might be a little tough on some nights.

Small menu but diverse choices. Several entrees had a half-order option, which I like. We shared poached pear salad which was quite good. Parsnip fennel soup was phenomenal. My husband liked his strip steak cooked to medium rare as ordered. I had a half-order of ravioli with a wonderful butternut squash sauce. Dessert - a raspberry cake - was fine. Coffee was hot and flavorful. Service was friendly, a little slow but the restaurant was quite full. We'll definitely be back. A nice experience.

One of our favourite restaurants in the area. We went for my wife's birthday. Service was gracious, friendly , and accommodating. The room itself is warm and inviting. Food was excellent. We sampled a variety of dishes and all were pleasing and cooked and seasoned well. They serve wine and beer, no cocktails as they are too close to a church, some arcane New York thing. We loved our experience there and will be back.

The food here is TO DIE FOR! I love the pork belly bao buns, and the braised short rib and mushroom risotto. The staff are very friendly and sociable, and the restaurant has a laid back energy even with the fine dining food. The prices are fairly high, but the quality of the food more than justifies it.

Had dinner there last night (Wednesday) with a party of five. Had a table next to the fireplace in a fairly empty restaurant, which is a little hard to understand given the quality of the food, wine, and service, which were all excellent. The room was cozy and reasonably quiet. Perfect evening for a small group of friends in an intimate atmosphere with great food. I had a house salad and the short rib with wild mushroom risotto - delicious. Others had the fish of the day (salmon, perfectly cooked), stuffed pork chop and butternut squash ravioli. Really tasty. The chocolate cake with layers of chocolate mousse for dessert from Biscotti, a local dessert purveyor, was a huge hit. We will be back!
