Just look at how sad the sushi looks, wegmans have better sushi... it's so bad I've never had dry sushi before

ordered via Uber Eats. Ordered a lunch special spicy tuna crunch, spicy salmon crunch and spicy yellow tail with a salad. All rolls were the same, no spicy mayo and the salad was frozen, partially thawed and frozen lettuce is not good. The roll tasted ok, salad but certainly not what I ordered and salad inedible, for how much I spent could have just done Wegmans.

Nope. Nada. This place used to be really good. Not sure what happened.

Went for a quick bite on my lunch break. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki for 16.25 and the salmon was farm raised frozen fish. The Teriyaki sauce was under seasoned and full of oil. The portions for the price would have been ok if the food was fresh and seasoned well.

Sort of mediocre sushi, but great deals on UberEats! If you're craving sushi but don't want to break the bank, Asahi is a solid option and does the job.On UberEats they have lots of deals like Buy 1, Get 1, which are super enticing. Normally I'd have given them a 2, but for their deals I gave them a 3. I got the spicy tuna rolls delivered, and they had a lot of breading/breadcrumb to take up space in the filling. (Photo is provided so you can see what I mean.) It tasted good and was fresh but I would have preferred more tuna and less breadcrumb. That being said it was packaged nicely, arrived cold (sushi, so good that it's cold), and was easy to eat with soy sauce and wasabi provided.I probably won't come to the store, as I prefer Bleu Monkey or Oishi since they're closer, so I can't comment on the service or ambiance. However if I'm craving some delivered sushi, I might order again on ubereats using their deals.

Stopped by and tried to eat here twice one weekend, but they only offered take-out. But Alto Cinco and Recess Coffee were open for business and we went there instead.

The pricing was good , staff friendly , selection plentiful, would go back for the all you can eat again!( When you go in to eat, you do have to mention the all you can eat option to receive the appropriate menus )

My food arrived spoiled, it was raw fish. I am very disappointed, it seems you only get good food if you pick up, but using third party they don't seem to care about their quality.

Best place for authentic taste if you can manage to figure out their relentlessly frustrating order experience as delivery is NO option!I usually drop a few bills when ordering, but as of 12 2022 Iam no longer able to order offline from Asahi in any capacity.Food is the best but service sucks as they refuse to accomidate their hit or miss ordering scheme.Iam willing to change my review upon any further changes to ordering such as when someone calls to say online ordering doesn't work they make up for it via phone orderFor some frustratingly absurd reason ordering online is the ONLY way they'll accept an order. No credit card, debit nor even prepaid card will satisfy this frustrating ordering experience. So be wary of how you plan on obtaining your order.I have called and repeatedly asked them to make sure everything on their end isn't the reason for such a souring ordering experience and after a 5min chat, reassuring me that GrubHub and other online methods of ordering will worki hang up defeated and throughout this month have spent hours attempting an order(this time should be used to take an order from a respectable customer.)That's how good their food is iam willing to spend four hours wasting my time attempting to order, all the while hoping it will work, and it never does

if I could put a 0 I would the worst customer service ever. they use their own people to do Uber eats and I had a priority order when he was on his way he was going the wrong direction I asked where he was going and he canceled my order really unprofessional when I complained to Uber eats "he" (was suppose to be a female driver) says he grabbed the wrong order when I texted him he said I was aggressive what? I asked where he was going how is that aggressive???? worst customer service and professionalism . Don't bother ordering from here

Ordered from Uber eats last night, and tonight went to finish the leftover chicken udon (which was sealed and refrigerated overnight) and was horrified to find a living maggot in the soup. This is inexcusable, horrific, and more than enough to make me tell everyone I know writhing a 100 mile radius to never go to this place. The food tasted fine but I guess it was the seasoning of actual parasites. I'm shocked that I haven't gotten ill (yet). Sickened that they serve mostly students to students who might not be able to afford a hospital visit from food poisoning. This place should be shut down, as this isn't an honest mistake of one little insect jumping in during the delivery but rather at least one or more ingredient is rotting in the repulsive kitchen. Truly disturbing, and not worth it by any means. Would give 0 stars if I could

I've really enjoyed grabbing lunch here while I'm out and about. I'm not sure what they were like before COVID, but it's take-out only, despite having a reasonably large space. They'll usually have the orders sitting on a table near the front door, while the employees tend to hang out way in the back by the kitchen. There are lots of tables and surface space, which are basically open storage for to-go containers and things like that.As far as their sushi, it's some of the best I've had in town. I'm not an expert by any means, but I've come by plenty of times for some sushi between meals. Impromptu sushi runs like this are great for celebrating good days, or mourning bad ones. I love the packaging they use, but I usually wish I had asked for so much more soy sauce and wasabi than they gave me. There's a lot of great stuff on this menu I can't recommend enough. The entrées and other food items I'm not as crazy about. Pricewise, there are a lot of great deals. I love getting sushi and gyoza and a basic salad or miso soup with whatever I order. I will say though of all the entrées I've tried, the one that really grabbed me was the teriyaki salmon. So perfectly crispy and they really nailed it with the sauce. The chicken katsu was pretty plain. And the beef curry was incredibly bland, and the beef was pretty tough. I didn't even save my leftovers from that, it just wasn't a good choice. My girlfriend is Korean, and we usually avoid ordering Korean stuff since we make it all the time at home and can almost always make it better. I wanted to try something Korean for the review, so we threw in some Budae Jjigae on top of one of our orders. It was actually made really well. It tasted a lot like something we would have made at home, just minus most of the spice. You have to try the sushi, that's not optional. And even if the other food isn't the best in town, there's some good combos that will leave you with good variety at a great price.

Food was excellent, well presented and very fresh.

Absolutely terrible service and food! I am disgusted that I actually paid $28 dollars for this. This is what they call a rainbow roll. Literally no salmon or tuna, just avocado and 1 piece with white fish. I called to ask about this and the staff were very rude and dismissive. Also, the sushi was very small, smaller than any sushi I have seen before. I wish that I just went and bought grocery store sushi because I have never even had grocery store sushi this poor quality. I will absolutely never go to this restaurant again, and I HIGHLY recommend that nobody else waste their money and time here. I never write google reviews, but this is really a new low in customer service and quality. Sushi house is slightly more expensive, but they actually serve what you ask for, and not small unrealistic proportions. Very dissapointed in my judgement that I considered going to this place after seeing the negative reviews.. Prevent yourself from feeling this way and just stay away!

I ordered pickup, I got the Godzilla and another roll I forgot the name to. Anyways this was the first time I’ve tried this restaurant, I went In and there were 4 workers it looked like laughing and having a good time sitting down at a table. One came to me and gave me my order for $23. I asked for chopsticks and they said they were in there even after I looked In the bag for them.I got home and saw that they gave me literally 2 small ginger slices, no chopsticks and just a small trap of not appetizing sushi. I tasted both and the only thing you can taste is the sauce….. I won’t come back here again. 2 stars is even over rated. Good luck to this restaurant.
