We were visiting Syracuse from Rochester, to hike around Green Lake State Park -- and stumbled upon the Salt City Market afterward for lunch. We're envious of Syracuse having such a great food hall! We moved from San Francisco 12 years ago, and miss all of the different cultural foods -- including Burma Super Star. So when we saw Big in Burma in the food hall, it was an easy decision to eat there! We got the Tea Leaf Salad and the Curry Chicken with White Rice (Kyat Thar Hin), and if we could have licked the plates clean, we would have. Every bite was so flavorful and tasty! When in Syracuse, we'll be back!!!

The food is not bad. Not sure I like the flavors though. The dish I had with rice noodles was a bit dry. I did like the pork spring rolls but they were very greasy. My sister had a salad that looked amazing, but the ginger flavor was too overpowering.

I love the chicken curry and coconut rice and get it every few weeks if not more frequently. The iced coffee is also good (strong flavor and very sweet)

Pork curry and pork ribs are pretty good. It can be a little noisy because of music playing in the mall. But it’s a good place if you wanna try foods. I want to suggest that it would be better if they have more vegetarian or pescatarian options.

Goood Food is amazing. Makes me miss Burma Superstar in San Fran. Great stews and tea leaf salad

About average for Syracuse area Asian food. The food was mild, so if you don't like spicy food this may be a good choice. Counter service, but it was prepared quickly.

All I had was the tea leaf salad, but it is my favorite dish form Myanmar. It has fermented tea leaves, which taste really amazing in this salad full of crunchy surprises. Also, corn, which is an interesting choice, but really good in it!

Finally got to try this place today! Started with the samosa and then opted for pork curry special with potatoes and white rice. So delicious, literally melt in your mouth. Full of flavor. The meat was super tender. It was supposedly white rice, but they must've put something in it because it was tastier than rice usually is. The curry sauce was chef's kiss. My only complaint is that for the price I feel like more meat should've came with the dish. Maybe I'm just being greedy though.

Enjoyed a delicious pork curry (a daily special) and iced tea. Friendly service and food prepared quickly.

Salt City Market is such a cool place and vibe. If you have many choices why not have more than one. At Big in Burma I went with the Burmese Pork Curry with marinated pork served with potato and white rice. Many great vendors here and a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal.
