Service was bad. We got our appetizer before we got our drinks and then the appetizer was overcooked and chewy. The space outside was small

Was really happy with the ambience and the service here. With the street closed off on Friday afternoons makes this even more fun to come to. They only have a couple months left, come eat, drink, and say goodbye before you no longer can. Thanks for the memories.

Large draft selections and cool menu options from regular bar food to high end deli meats and cheeses

Very nice selection of Ales & people. Customer focused staff. I Just read the previous review. Seems like the Blue Tusk is going to be looking for a new place to call home. What a shame

Great beer selection, great location, and I’m so sad to hear they are closing. They have been a staple downtown and it’s going to feel empty without them.

Syracuse's popular Blue Tusk taphouse has been serving microbrews and pub food in Armory Square for the last 26 years. Now, the owner of the nearby Kasai restaurant and the Blue Tusk's new landlord have conspired to evict this treasured establishment for purposes of pure greed, perhaps as soon as this September. Loyal fans of the Blue Tusk are unlikely to patronized the new occupants of the space or the Kasai restaurant.

Roast beef and Stilton is great, a must have sandwich

They have an impressive selection of draft beers. It's too bad they won't be around much longer.

Blue Tusk is an Armory standard. It once was the prominent craft beer bar downtown but has now been surpassed by a few other places (THS, Kitty Hoynes, Evergreen). It's a very, very pricy pint nowadays and the selection is certainly not the best. Not a bad place to stop for a sandwich during lunch. Also, it should be noted that they will be closing permanently in September due to an issue in negotiations for a new lease. They'll be missed, but this spot has had it's day in the sun.

Stopped in for dinner to the Blue Tusk and I thought it was pretty good not great overall. They have a lot of seating in and outdoor with views of the street and people watching. Drinks and food are ala carte ordering at the counter and then they bring things to you. They have a rather limited menu and on the day I visited, a Saturday more than 1/2 the menu was not available which wasn't great. The meals don't come with sides either despite being a little on the expensive side for just a sandwich but they have a large variety of chips available for the sides as well for additional cost. I got one of their chicken sandwiches which was rather on the dry side but overall again just okay. I don't know, I'd try them again sometime if I was in the area.

I had a chicken wrap. I was not impressed. Mediocre at best. Service was slow. I will not return to that place. There's a great deal of restaurants in the area. I'll try another place.

We wandered in on a sunny Sat...pub/restaurant with NO fried food...Yay! The cheeses and breads on all our choices were local and fresh. Bartender Sam was so kind and informative. And also a shout out to "Prego." Covid safe. Great food and sweet staff. Will definitely be back for all these reasons.Oh and too many beers to list and small but excellent wine offerings by the glass or bottle.Thank you for a perfect easy Saturday.
