So happy I found this place. Authentic Korean Food was amazing. Do not let the exterior fool you. Tiny 6 table diner ,unless there’s more somewhere else. Everyone was super friendly and it became a multi table conversation with everyone sharing and laughing.

It's like a hole in the wall but it's a great place to eat tiny little restaurant but they have really good food

If you want, authentic Korean food, and the coziness of eating with family… be sure to stop here. Go through the side door. Amazing food from start to finish and conversation with the hostess if you want.

By far, the best food in Syracuse. I am addicted. The family (owners) are friendly, and the food they provide, is the food their family eats. It means this is authentic Korean food. Everything on the menu is worth trying, because you'll come back for more. It is found in a modest building, it's very clean, plenty of parking, but best of all, family kindness and service, plus their homemade food. Chorong, i will see you soon :)Vegetarian options: Meats can be substituted with tofu. Ensure to ask what is the broth made of it having soup.

Churong House is a delightful discovery, offering a truly authentic Korean food. The welcoming staff set the stage for a menu bursting with genuine flavors. Highlights include the perfectly crispy Vegetable Pancake and the exquisitely marinated Bulgogi. Each dish feels like a labor of love, reminiscent of Seoul's vibrant culinary scene. Accompanied by a thoughtful selection of Soju, the meal was both comforting and exhilarating. The attentive service adds to the charm. This small gem is a must-visit for anyone craving an authentic taste of Korea.

Best Korean food in Syracuse, and has a great home style feel. I cannot recommend enough the kimchi jeon (pancake). Super hearty, it's enough for one person's whole
Wonderful restaurant with excellent food and service. Don’t be dissuaded by the humble exterior, it’s a gem of Syracuse and you should by all means try it!
it is delicious. I was hesitant to go in because the exterior and surroundings were old, but the moment I took a bite of the soft tofu stew, I thought it was a good idea to come in! A taste that belongs in the top 5 best restaurants in Koreatown, LA! ??

Edit (10/2023): I finally made it back to Chorong House and it’s still really good. It makes me regret not making the effort to come back sooner. The woman who runs the restaurant is still one of the kindest people I’ve met at any place I’ve eaten. The menu has also been updated since the last time I ate here in December 2022.Original (12/2022): I don’t know how I’d never heard of this place before tonight, but it’s very good. Both the appetizers and main dishes we got were great. The woman who greeted us at the door after coming in from the snow storm was very kind as well. I look forward to coming back in the future and trying the jajangmyeon as it’s one of my favorite dishes.
Some of the best food in Syracuse.

Very solid, simple and authentic Korean. Definitely will return. Small sitting area so we had to wait, but it was totally worth it.
Wonderful spot we were so glad to discover! Quick service, large portions, and delightful food—will definitely stop by again when we’re in the area!
