Very strange. Felt like I was eating at a badly decorated jr. prom. There was a 75 person party happening simultaneously with dinner service so the wait time was ridiculous. Over an hour for a really bad appetizer (worst calamar I’ve ever had) and then finally after an hour and 45 minutes we were served. The lobster gnocchi and seafood lasagna was almost inedible due to its very strong sour taste.. almost like vomit. Luckily, the prime rib was was excellent. Due to the ridiculously long wait time, we did get half off of our bill and free desert. Maybe it would have been better if the restaurant actually prepared for a 75 seat event as well as their own full restaurant. I wouldn’t come back here even if it was 100% off.

Not bad, but not great. Crablegs are small, and the meat is salty. The sides we ordered were ok, the asparagus was undercooked.

We were at a party of 21. Ordered prime rib med rare. Plate was just warm and meat definitely was well done. My thought was the beef dinners were done and waiting for other plates to be served at the same time. Great waiter, he offered to get a new one but I said no as I felt people were finishing up. It was also very cold in the back room where are party was. Several people kept their coats on.Parking: It's in the fairgrounds and you have to part a little distance away and if something is going on at the fairgrounds parking might be difficult to park close by

My wife and I have gone to daniella"s many times. One of the main reasons is the food and ambiance. This particular visit was a disappointment as there was no music either in person or from speakers. It felt like we were in Mcdonalds. The food was fine but we both agreed that we will call before we go again to make sure there is music or if none then we will go somewhere else.

This place is hands down awesome, the food, the service, ambiance, can't even explain how good it is. Food is always awesome and done to perfection. Not many restaurants in the Syracuse area can even compete with this place. And the owner Charlie is one of the best. Always calls to see how your meal and experience was extremely nice guy. A lot of places have closed in our area. But the wife and I either go here. Or to the other steakhouse up the street. Daniella's located in the best western at the fair. Both places are phenomenal. Highly recommend. Great for live entertainment at times and all you can eat crab legs a few times a month. Located in the fair at the Old empire room.

The appetizers, entrees and desserts were absolutely amazing. The only negative is that when the reservation was made we indicated it was my birthday and also notified our server when she asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. There were two other tables with birthdays and they received a sparkler on their dessert. My birthday wasn't acknowledged which was disappointing.
I had read good reviews on Daniella's but wasn't overly impressed. It clearly is a banquet hall which we were not aware of so it was loud and tables were very close. We ordered the scallop appetizer which was delicious with a lightly seasoned sauce. We had Caesar salads which were okay. My husband had the seafood lasagna which he loved. I ordered the steak with seafood topping. The sauce was very bland and had very little seafood for the price. The whole experience was okay but not great.

We had an earlier reservation. Was quiet when we got there but filled up as we ate. Table spacing was very good as we didn't notice it getting louder as it got more crowded. Drink menu had exactly what wanted at first - and we ordered apps-the Greens were excellent. When we switched to wine there could be a couple more red varieties / origins offered but what we chose was fine. We ordered two pasta entrees and one fish. The pastas were both outstanding. So was the fish. The one thing that was disappointing was that while the fish came out perfectly cooked and hot, the rice and veg sides were barely above room temp. We split two deserts that were very good as well. Our server was pleasant and attentive throughout and it was an overall nice meal
