Go on, get a large cheese pie with sliced ham and artichokes. It'll make you a believer! The perfectly crunchy crust with enough salt and oil to make you eager to eat every bit of it... The balanced and appropriately assertive tomato sauce that sits back just enough to be the supporting actor for everything else... The generous mozzarella that offers plenty of cheese-first, deeply satisfying bites... Scatter thinly sliced ham on top with artichokes - both of which raise the umami bar while the latter adds a delightful succulent note - and you have a truly winning pizza that stands up to the best that I've had in 20 years of living in NYC previous to moving to Syracuse. A special request to the current pizza maker: please don't keep shrinking the pies. When people order a large, they expect the crust to touch the sides of the box like it used to. Thank you.

Ran into the place next door to grab my order and then was going to run in here to get pizza for my kids the guy who I’m guessing is the owner yelled at me told me I can’t park there when I wasn’t even driving. So when I told him I wasn’t driving he told me to tell whoever was to move. Needless to say didn’t bother spending my money there and just moved to the street. Disgusting that you would talk to a woman like that but refused to talk to the man driving the car. Do better

I have bee going to Dorians after Syracuse basketball games for roughly 15 years. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. They accommodated my family’s picky orders, treated us like VIPs and the food was of course excellent. The speciality subs and pizza are always fantastic. Hopefully we can have 15 more great yearsVegetarian options: Owner was happy to make me a custom item off the menu. Unlike most places that will charge you full price even when you remove the meat on a menu item, the owner charged me much less then the menu price and was extremely accommodating.

This might be the best pizza place in Syracuse university area. Worth the money. Loved the pizzas, loved the owner. Great place to grab a slice and a beer.

Love this local hole in the wall. The food is to die for and you can tell there's a family behind the counter. Definitely my favorite pizza nearby, nice evenly thick crust and the topping are always incredible - classic NY pizza I would say. I love that they always have Fiddlehead beer on tap. The Greek god theme is pretty sweet too. Gyros and specialty sandwiches are great!Added bonus - if you want to watch the game, you're going to see it on the TV inside.Parking: Parking is right out front and super convenient.
Called for delivery and was told they only do it through grub hub. Ordered on Grubhub and my order was delivered to the wrong address after I changed it online and then they canceled my order. I was told to reorder. The restaurant then did not want to deliver my new order because they were refunded by Grubhub. Terrible customer service over $30. Will NEVER order from here again.

The best slices in Syracuse, I encourage anyone to prove me wrong, reasonably priced, if you don’t want pizza they also have perfect gyros, and several Sandwich options all named after Greek gods, the Dionysius is particularly bussin, but French fries are, without fail, always perfect. On top of all that the side terrace is gorgeous in the summer the whole joint is a breath of fresh air you know it’s good from the moment you see what they’ve got on the counter and the owner is a genuine master of his craft, if you ever have a bad experience there it’s one of the rarest anomalies, and you probably did it to yourself, and if you aren’t sure if you want to try it I’m telling you right now, it deserves your business. They are the real deal.

I check Google. Says Dorians closes at 11pm. I call at 9:45pm. Guy answers "dorians , we're closed"..click.Just change your hours to 10pm bro. Better than being rude. I didn't bother calling back because i had to call twice to get an answer in the first place.Stuff like that loses people, even if they like your food. Unless you're okay with that ratio??♂️

Philly Cheese steak was the worst I’ve ever had and when I tried to call and explain they told me I was wrong and hung up on me it’s sad because I usually like this place but this experience was by the far the worst!!!!
