They never greeted. They did not even know that we had make a reservation. Too expensive for small portion. Services are suboptimal. I would not go back. It was much better before they moved.

This was a real treat to have dinner here. The service was excellent and extremely professional. The ambiance is beautiful. The food was excellent from the appetizer which was a lobster dip with rice chips to dinner with steaks and dessert of a strawberry cake with real strawberries. The only downfall is the price. Be prepared to pay for the excellent service and very good and distinctive taste. 2 people, where we had two drinks apiece and split a dessert. $220 before the tip. It was a treat since it is a unique place but I don't think it's a place I could go to more than a couple times a year.

The finest restaurant in Syracuse. I rave about their oysters, duck, short rib. Pretty much everything on the menu has a well factor and you should experience every item. The bartenders are very friendly and the music really adds to the ambience of the place. This is a great date night or anniversary restaurant. We love to go there before a show in downtown.

We were in town for a show and made a last minute reservation to have dinner. We had the best experience thanks to our wonderful server, Roman. It was a busy night and we didn’t have a lot of time for dinner. Roman ensured we were in and out in time for the show while also providing excellent service. His recommendations were perfect and the food was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

I went to dinner with a customer on a Wednesday night. We had coconut shrimp, Oysters, dumplings and spring rolls for the appetizers. The dumplings and oysters tied for 1st. Our server pointed me in the correct direction for the main course. I had the seafood special with a spicy sauce and the dry asian noodles over the top. I couldn't find the name on the menu but i would ask for it again. It was fantastic. The desserts all got A's for presentations but I held back and had the port. It was a great night out.

After years of wanting to go, I finally made it to the LemonGrass for Dining Weeks to see if it was worth the hype - absolutely! Didn't realize how big it was inside, with fun art and decor on the walls. We started with 2 fun drinks, which did taste as good as they looked! Our apps were lobster dip and spring rolls, the dip was kind of lackluster but the rolls were good. Then, we ordered Bangkok Beef and Red Curry to split. The curry had great flavor, especially adding the coconut milk on top. The beef was great too, an added $10 to the $40 3-course meal. We ended wirh one of their famous desserts, the cancan, and a warm apple bread, although a bit pricey, worth it for a date night and of course, have to feed your phone and social medias! Would definitely come again for another date night or special occasion.

Dinning week , the Bangkok beef was good the noodles they put in there were so salty I couldn't even eat them , so gross , everything else was good . I did not complain I just paid the bill tipped my 20% and left

First Charles and then Jeremy were both EXCELLENT servers! Jeremy did a great job explaining menu options and we loved it all. He was so under control on a busy night, that we didn't even realize someone had passed out while we were eating! Highly recommend both the servers and the food!

I've been dining at The Lemongrass for 20 years. The food has always been excellent & still is, but the ambiance at the new location is horrid. I ate there two weeks ago & the bar had bright white overhead lights reminiscent of an office, & the dining room had the same lights on a smaller scale. Between the bright lights & the tables crammed in like sardines I felt like I was in a highschool cafeteria. Also got sick from the table a foot away from me, all of whom were coughing. Love the food but never going back to that lack of ambiance and intimacy & privacy. Not worth paying top dollar to dine in a cafeteria setting

I've had a number of good meals at Lemongrass, but this evenings outing was continually disappointing. Had reservations, but still had a small wait to be seated, but not a big deal. Once at our table it was 45 minutes before our order was taken. Both appetizers were cold. Then my salad came out with the wrong dressing. Finally, my steak came out cold- good flavor, but cold. In this time we actually finished a whole bottle of wine and still waited as service was super slow. Over two hours in the restaurant we skipped dessert because it was late and we didn't want to be there any longer. Very disappointing.

This was my second time here, and I came for Downtown Dining Week. Personally, I think it's one of the best spots downtown; however, it's on the pricey side. I ordered the lobster dip as my appetizer, the salad with peanut dressing, and the gra pow with shrimp. I asked for my main dish with a few more long peppers. In my opinion, it could have been a bit spicier. Butttttt...I learned last year when I ordered my green curry extra spicy that they do not play!!! There was an unbelievable amount of long hots and then chili peppers on top. I think I drank probably 2 gallons of water (see picture for evidence--I rarely say anything is too spicy). My friend and I shared the raspberry tart for dessert. It's not included, but the desserts here are truly spectacular. Service is always top notch and the vibe is upscale, yet casual.

Went to lemon grass with a friend for dining week. There were many of the items on the prix fix menu that I couldn't have due to shellfish and cashew allergies, and my friend was also limited to few options because she is vegan and allergic to gluten. The server was kind and mostly attentive. The appetizers were good, though my chive pancakes were quite greasy. The peanut dressing on the salad was very tasty. The grapefruit thyme mocktails were so delicious! And $10 for a mocktail... she ordered the forest mushrooms dish with tofu and it was delicious but had quite a lot of tofu relative to the mushrooms. I ordered the sweet tamarind swordfish. The fish seemed like it was either previously frozen or quite overcooked. The sauce and bok choy were good. Needless to say, this was not my best experience at lemon grass or dining out in general.

My wife and I took advantage of the start of Downtown Dining Week 2024 and enjoyed a 3-course meal at Lemon Grass, and overall had a great experience. The value you get during dining week is excellent, but I can't speak to their standard prices. That said, everything we had was delicious and as much a joy for the eyes as they were for our taste buds.We went on a Saturday night (again, during Dining Week), so the restaurant was completely full, and the entire service staff was constantly busy. In spite of that, our waters were constantly refilled throughout the night, and our food came out in a very timely fashion - we never felt like the meal was lasting too long. When we finished our meal, our waitress even let us know that we were more than welcome to hang out at our table to watch the end of the Syracuse basketball game, which while we didn't take her up on it, spoke to the hospitality of the staff. My only (minor) complaint was that it was rather loud in the first dining area, but that's too be expected on a busy Saturday night in the room that includes the bar seating. The food, as always, was outstanding. Each dish had an impressive depth and nuance of flavor that made each bite exciting. The highlight for us was the Green Curry Beef - the cinnamon basil and Thai chili curry sauce was to die for, with a perfect amount of heat so as to not overpower and take away from the intended flavor itself. Lastly, a pro-tip: do NOT skip out on dessert here. Every option is hand-crafted into a beautiful presentation, and the flavors themselves live up to their appearance. Kudos to the pastry chef for continuing to do a great job.

Everything is always good at lemon grass! Our server, Andrea, was awesome and super personable. The food for dining week was incredible and the portions were HUGE. You always get your moneys worth for dining week at lemon grass and with the regular menu as well. Can't wait to go back for dinner!!
