I was very disappointed this morning when I went in to get an egg and wheat toast. I told the guy what I wanted, he said cheese and I said no, he then charged me for an egg sandwich that I didn't order, seemed to get an attitude when I said that's not what I ordered. Now I get to work and go to eat food, why was my toast burnt, didn't put the butter on it like I asked and the egg was runny and I asked for it to be fried hard. I usually love going to Nick's, but today I was very disappointed!

We had a few moments before an appt across the street and decided to give this place a try. The service was friendly. Food was prepared quickly and tasted good. It was reasonably priced. I heard the manager/owner eager to accommodate a customer who wanted a dish that wasn't on the menu. The bathroom was very clean which I always appreciate, especially in older buildings.

Great place to have breakfast. BOMBBBBB breakfast sandwiches! I get: Double bacon extra crispy, egg over medium, white cheddar cheese & cut in half. Add a healthy amount of black pepper yourself! Makes my morning every time I have it. The people are SUPER nice, including the owner, cooks, and wait staff! They'll have your food ready in less than ten minutes! Definitely a gem downtown and worth checking out. The cookies are soft and delicious :)

they have real, bulk breakfast sausage! no frozen patties, no gross/hard skinned links. plus they're downtown AND open at 6:30

Small family type diner. Serves breakfast all day which most places in area do not. Great prices too? they have specials as low as $5 and portions are large!!

Amazing experience. Staff was accommodating to my custom order. I got an omelette with every cheese plus bacon. The food was good as well. I will be back again. I've seen their signs from the sidewalk, but never came into there until today. I'm happy I did. Definite 5 star experience.

My ordered wasn't made like I wanted. I ordered a omelette with sausage, green bell peppers, onions with cheddar cheese. When I got the omelette they gave me white american cheese. Omelette tasted alright
