1-10 (10 excellent). Fish was a 4. It tasted ok prepared in a timely manner. Tarter sauce was a little off; not very creamy. French fries were plentiful but salty, greasy and not very tasty. Atmosphere 6. Cute set up, clear menus with prices. Clean. Employees get a 1. I was greeted upon entry but they were unfriendly, scowling. There was about 2 other customers eating/ordering. I almost fell as there were 4 worn rugs along counter which overlapped each other. I tripped on the edge of the last rug. Staff never even acknowledged me as I crashed into counter and black wall trying to remain upright. I may come again for a fish sandwich if I’m desperate and have someone willing to traverse the uneven rugs for me. Just saying

I have tried several different sandwiches, and they have all been amazing as far as hot sandwiches the Duke all the way, but the real topper is the people who work there I believe really care about the product they are putting out they are friendly even when they are slammed so another words. This place is awesome.

Went in for 2 fish dinners this evening, and was VERY impressed! Got a VERY good sized fish with good fries, and my father and I really enjoyed it! The staff and the owner were really nice too!

The customer service here makes you feel like your in another time period, I say that in a very good way. It's like the old school feeling of a family atmosphere that can be scene on Nick-at-Nite, executed very well. It's always good to see the ladies here.Food choices are good here as well. Make sure to ask for their "boom-boom" sauce. Even if they charge you for it, it will defiantly be worth it!
