We traveled all day. Then placed an order online which was accepted. Went to pick it up at the stated ready time. Place was closed. Tried to call several times. No answer. However, the order is paid. No food, tired and need to get my money back.

I tried to go back here after a bad experience with the staff since the food is actually decent, but I won’t be going back. The guy behind the grill is unprofessional/condescending. Having done the job myself I get that being a line cook is stressful, but it’s no way to treat anyone. Varsity pizza and chipotle are both a couple doors away and have better food and service. Come here if you want to get yelled at.

My 2 coworkers and I placed our orders and paid online. We went to pick up our food and the door was locked (at noon on Tuesday 8/22/23). A sign on the door said closed catering. We could see people inside and knocked on the door to see about our order or how to be refunded. The woman yells "We're closed" and ignores us. We tried telling her though the glass that we placed our orders online, she continued to ignore us. Then the woman inside starts swearing at us. We waited around probably 10 minutes hoping someone would come out and tell us what was going on. No one came. So, we leave and go to another restaurant. Half an hour has past, and a man calls me and says he can cook our food now. I told him not to bother, we went somewhere else and wanted a refund. No refund was given so I had to call my bank to file a dispute. Absolute terrible customer service. All they had to do was to walk over to the door and say sorry, could we come back in half an hour. Nope, lets ignore the customer and berate them. That was my first and last time at Pita Pit on Marshall Street.

Google and their website hours are incorrect. Ordered food through the website, said the order would be ready at 7:19pm on a Sunday, account was charged and went to pick up food only to find out they're closed on Sundays. Husband went in person to resolve the next day and a worker said the owner would be in later. Tried calling multiple times with no answer. Finally got through and was told by an employee they'd talk to a manager. Husband followed up the next day and nothing had been done and was told the owner wasn't in. He left his name and number for him to call when he was in. It's been a few days and we've received no call to resolve this.
