I order from this place pretty frequently and don't get me wrong, the poke and most of the appetizers are great, I just would not reccomend the noodles. The right hand image of the darker noodles and the sesame seeds was the image provided for the menu item, and the left hand image is what i received. They were, to put it lightly, not great.

Service and atmosphere is very friendly and well decorated. I like the ease of filling out the menu with the pens and the food hits the spot for poke bowls.

Every time I come to Poke Fish, I am greeted with enthusiasm and kindness. Each employee there is so sweet and the environment is very comfortable and fun. The food is always extremely fresh and the portions are very generous. One of my favorite places to eat out in Syracuse!

The pictures they have online of what their hibachi looks like is very deceiving!!!!! My friend and I went to order and thought we were getting what the picture online looked like (authentic hibachi) and got a bowl with uncooked zucchini & squash, pineapple, corn, jalapeños, edamame, carrots, and egg. The steak was a little portion about 9-10 cubes for each bowl. You guys should specify what comes in the bowl so if we want to take something out we can. Disappointed I thought I was getting something and got something not even close to the picture!!!!

Now I watch a slew of street food and small shop videos on YouTube. This is taken out of one of those videos. The atmosphere is small but feels like a hidden gem. The staff was so kind and nice. Now onto the food. I’m an avid fan of fish and street food so the takoyaki was a fast selection. When I opened the lid it looks amazing. Covered in bonito flakes and sauce. The taste has a good fry to it on the outside. Perfect balance of sauce, Mayo and bonito that sticks. Very large piece of octopus as well and the batter is light and fluffy on the inside. Perfect balance and amazing taste. If you’re in the area very much check this spot out and enjoy a nice late night snack in a cute place above the busy campus street. 11/10 will very much be returning often.

Definitely a hidden gem, if you're not familiar with the place you might just miss it. I surely did the first time coming here. It is located right on top on chipotle, on the second level. The door is separate and leads you up the staircase to this place. Very nice and clean, they have a good amount of seating. I came during lunch time so they were very busy but very efficient. They have menus with dry erase markers so while waiting in line you can choose what you would like and it speeds up the process when it's your turn. I got the poke your own bowl, which was around $16 with tax. Reasonable price. In the bowl, you can can choose a base, they have white, brown and fried rice and spring mix option. I tried the white rice. For my protein, I chose spicy tuna and crab meat. As for my mix ingredients I tried the edamame, tamago (sweet egg omelet), cucumber, and corn. You can choose as much as you would like. For the sauce I got eel sauce and spicy mayo, I think if you choose more then 2 sauces there is an upcharge. For my toppings I got seaweed salad and massago (fish egg) and tempura flakes and nori. They have a good variety to choose from every was fresh and delicious. Good size and portion of food. However I am not a big fan of the spicy tuna, It felt like they just threw it in spicy mayo and it didn't add any additional flavor. I felt as it would be the same as I got regular tuna. Other then that everything combine and mixed together was super delicious. I would definitely coming back!

I wanna start by saying this is my first google review for ANY company ! Lol. So the fact that I’m writing this shows this restaurant was GREAT. My server was kind and the food was fresh and tasteful! Lots of options to customize your bowl to your liking. I was initially heading to Chipotle but I’m glad I saw the “Grand opening” sign and decided to check it out. This is my #1 go to spot from now on.

It would be very easy to bypass Poke Fish restaurant during an afternoon stroll on Marshall Street. It's located on the second floor right next door to Chipotle. There is a menu of their signature items on the front door leading you upstairs. The photos of the Poke Bowls available looked very appetizing so I took the opportunity to partake in their offerings.I ordered the Poke Fish Bowl which had a two-chili spice level. It only took the preparer to a few minutes to put together the bowl and deliver it to me as a to-go item and I whisked it away back to my office to indulge myself in the meal ahead.Unfortunately, I was disappointed with what I was greeted to.Unlike the photo on the menu, there was an over abundance of crispy onions and spicy mayo sauce in the bowl. There was a healthy portion of white rice that served as the bed of the entrée but the spicy tuna and spicy salmon portions were small and inundated with the mayo sauce that masked any level of spiciness that they may have once carried. All I could really taste was the pineapple chunks, jalapenos slices and the mayo. The bowl was simply drowned out by the mayo and the lack of seafood that were supposed to be featured in the bowl. I wouldn't be surprised if the heavy use of sauces effected the spice level of the bowl. There was none.As a result, I wouldn't order another Poke Fish Bowl here unless changes to the quantity of seafood was increased and the mayo sauce was drastically reduced.Next time, I might try one of the Hibachi Bowls and taste if the quality of the entrée is any better since there are no mayo-based sauces to drown out the taste of the ingredients. At the moment, I can not recommend the Poke Fish bowls but, the other options available might offer a better taste sensation. Be forewarned that you should request any sauces used in the bowls be used lightly or on the side.On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and the venue was clean and accommodating. Until we eat again...
