Hooray! I finally found my coffee spot in Syracuse. I just moved here from coffee-loving San Francisco. Salt CIty Coffee makes the best espresso I've had in town. I have yet to spend time in the cafe itself, but I love the vibe. I feels like a comfy living room full of interesting people I've not yet met.

This is by far my favorite place to stop and get coffee or order ahead when short on time. The vibe is great, and the house it's located in is gorgeous. All of the baristas are friendly and helpful.

I've been going to Salt City for about a year now, but it's always been the university location. I was blown away by how different this location is!! I love the ambiance much more, as it's super cozy and chill. As always, the coffee and food is great, but I think this location does even more than what university does! Would highly recommend going here.

Went here for the first time this morning and loved it! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. The only thing is that Google maps has a hard time bringing you to the parking lot in the back but that's not the cafes fault.Parking: Parking is behind the building but there is plenty of space!

Great food. Friendly service. In a great food court area that is an oasis in Syracuse. I was here for a conference and pleasantly surprised. Cute place

Really cool spot…in an older house that creates a nice atmosphere just to relax/talk/reads. Great coffee and breakfast sandwich.

What a gem in the middle of the city. Great place to hang out and do work on the laptop while you enjoy some good coffee and food.

Salt City is my go to for coffee whether buying beans to make coffee at home, or having one of their talented and friendly baristas make coffee at their location. I’ve only had good experiences with Salt City! You have to try the cereal milk latte - they rotate the type of cereal, so it’s always a sweet treat seeing which one is there!Parking: Parking is behind the Onondaga (old house) location!

I’m not from Syracuse, but every single time I go for work I am stopping at Salt City coffee! The Valencia cold brew is PERFECTION. I also have a really unhealthy obsession with the iced banana bread latte. If you haven’t been, you need to go ASAP.

Locally roasted, consistently good coffee, which is surprisingly hard to find. Not only is each location of Salt City Coffee charming, the staff are exactly as helpful and friendly as needed, without making one feel that they have to be "on" when they step up to the counter. There are enough fun and playful drinks on the menu board that it's clear they don't take their coffee too seriously while consistently producing great cups and amazing beans to take home. There are gluten-free pastries for those who need or desire them - the cider donut is so good! - and other menu items for those who have fewer restrictions. The parking lot in the back has a one-way path in and out that isn't well defined if you haven't been here before. Come in near the cute building and leave out the back of the parking lot - the charming converted house is squeezed in-between a few other things. If you want a pour-over, these folks can set you up. If you'd rather a quad-shot latte, that's also a go-to for me. For those who would like something a little sweeter, there seems to always be a cereal milk option available. No matter how you take your coffee, stop in here and take home a bag of the Syracuse blend.

Great coffee spot on the west side. Don't be detoured by the location. The shop is very cozy and nice. Perfect to study or meet a friend. I'm glad they brought this to the area. They offer your coffee classics as well as some unique drinks and a few meal items. They have a bunch of homemade syrups. I got the iced banana bread latte. So good! You can really taste the difference between store syrups and homemade. Staff are friendly. I ordered online and it was ready early. On the pricier side. I also noticed online that they have an espresso cart for weddings ;) bonus is lots of parking in back.
