One of our favorite spots in town, great food, on the water and cool vibe. They do struggle a bunch with timeliness, keeping up with service and having enough staff. They have improved a lot since Covid, worth the patience, as long as you're not in a rush.

The food gets 3 stars but the manager gets 1 star. Just got back from San Miguel and will never go back again. I took my daughter and her husband out for her birthday dinner. It's Friday at 6:00 so I thought we would have to wait but the place wasn't that busy. I guess people have heard that this place is going downhill. The food here wasn't as good as it used to be and I've ate there plenty of times. The big thing was that they seated us in a booth inside and we saw a bunch of free tables outside. I said to my daughter that I'll go ask them for a outside table. We weren't even seated 30 seconds when I went back up to the hostess station and I asked the manager if we could get one of the free tables outside and she said No your already seated. I told her that we haven't even been seated for 30 seconds and there's a few free tables outside and she still refused to give us a table outside. If it wasn't my daughter's birthday I would've packed up and left on the spot. So the food came and it was mediocre at best. This place is gone downhill and I won't be back mainly Because of the manager and also the food is not that good anymore. I lived in Southern California and I'm used to Mexican cuisine and this is not it.

We stopped in on busy Cinco de Mayo! It was r first time there. 35 minute wait which seemed right for a busy holiday and ended up eating there! Service was much quicker, drinks were good and the food was good too!

Great food. 8.5/10 for food. 2/10 for service. The server took our order, but never came back. Had to flag down other staff to get utensils and napkins. Never got drink refills. Tried to get our servers attention multiple times to get the check so we could finally leave. Won't be returning.

If I could give it a -5 stars I would. A crowded, busy NOISY BAR with blaring music had asked our party to leave for treating it as such. Apparently loud talking over loud music while enjoying drinks served from a BAR isn't allowed. They actually had the nerve to call this BAR a family restaurant. Our party was about 3-4 drinks in and we apparently had too much. It took an hour for dinner to arrive and apparently that was all we were allowed to stay. Even had the nerve too remove all of our drinks. Unbelievable treatment by patrons helping to support small businesses. This small business is a little too big for its britches. Will tell every single person I speak about "Mexican" food with this experience. Also,we were getting together for a Birthday. This is not the place for enjoying the company of friends and family.

Update... Went here for the second time and I have to say I have never been more disrespected or embarrassed in my adult life. I arrivered at 545 to sit at the bar( we had no reservations) we all ordered a drink .. My family and I were having fun drinking, eating and laughing with each other. We choose this BAR because it has good food and what we thought was a good atmosphere. Towards the end of the night for us about 8pm I went to order another drink and waiter stated the owner said no more for this table stating this is a family restaurant and we were being to loud, inappropriate. Then the waiter proceede to remove all the drinks from the table. This is a bar and it's stated in its name we were sitting by only adults, this bar was busy and loud and music is playing over head. You have to elevate you voice to talk across a room, we were at no times out of control(loud yes, laughing and having fun yes) we had a DD. I will never come back here. Don't call you self a bar and promote alcohol if you don't want patrons that drink.

Highly recommend this eatery. First off plenty of parking, greeted with such enthusiasm immediately got seated. Waitress was outstanding, food delish, margarita OMG!!! The best dessert fried cheesecake with powdered sugar and cinnamon a must have! Overall the best 5 stars if not more!!!

Was in Baldwinsville showing homes for sale so decided to check out san Miguel. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had in CNY. If you are near the area definitely reccomend checking it out. Remember to support your small and local businesses. Procopio real estate highly reccomends San miguel.

Went there on Friday night. Last night. We got a table right away. Mask mandate was lifted. I get it's still up to each restaurant. Our food took exactly an hour from the time we ordered. Our server was only at our table to get our order and bring our first drinks. He wasn't friendly. My 15 month old got stir crazy waiting I was standing at the table rocking him and a female manager ran up and said put your mask on or leave. Meanwhile, we had empty drinks and no food. She was more worried about the mask that they will no longer get in trouble for. We took our food home. I have a Mexican background. Love Rio and Azteca. The food was mediocre at best. Margaritas were definitely store bought mix all sugar no liquor. We got a strawberry margarita pitcher. This place will sadly probably not last ran this way.

Just terrible, the worst food I've ever had. Never would recommend eating there, margaritas were good though. If I could give it negative stars I would! Whoever said this place is better than Otro cinco is out of their mind!! Definitely would never go back ! Their tacos even stunk . Salsa not so great, guacamole runny and chunky onions .. gross
My only complaint is that I had made a reservation and was one minute late to the reservation and was ridiculed by the host. That being said, the service became more friendly throughout the night and the food and margaritas at San Miguel were so delicious!

Did take out service at the new Baldwinsville location food was great and plenty for a second meal steak tacos where very good and flavorful the chicken enchiladas with the shredded chicken was awesome and the rice and Queso fundido is a must love the salsa and chips as well so when in Baldwinsville New York this is a must stop!!!!

I had to over an hour to get my which is ok if the place was packed or if the food was the best Mexican food I ever had. It was good but I couldn't understand the wait time especially with limited amount of customers allowed now, i counted 11 and some of them were already eating, a solid 3 out of 5
