I have eaten Chicago style pizza at famous Chicago pizzerias. I hated it. But having the Chicago style pizza at Tangy Tomato is a whole different experience. Their pizza is amazing. It is very cheesy for sure. But the crust is delicious and strong and keeps the pizza form, even the slices. The pizza does not turn into a messy blob. That allows me to eat this like a pizza. The flavors are great. It is clear that the owner studied the issue of how to make the best Chicago style pizza and she has done so in my opinion. Thank you.

The deep dish is amazing you must try it. I ordered online and came in a bit early, they were so friendly with me while I was waiting for the pizza to finish up. Will be back

Ordered a large NY style and a classic Chicago deep dish.I consider myself a pizza snob, so pickier then the rest...The Neapolitan sauce and cheese were ok but crust was too chewy for me and flavorless.I have been wanting a Chicago deep dish and was trying this place out before another. It was ok.Lot of cheese and sauce but again the dough was ng, too sweet IMHO.Nice service, decent prices.Would I go back, no...

Twice now we have tried to order food in the last two weeks. Last week they were out of everything we wanted to order. This week they don't have a driver and are closing early on a Saturday night at 6:30.

Could not have been happier with the service and food we received from Tangy Tomato. We were looking to host a pizza luncheon for our entire faculty and staff at our school. As we called around to a number of pizza shops none were able to accommodate our unique schedule until we called Tangy Tomato. When we explained what we were trying to do and provide for our teachers and staff, Tangy made it happen for us and delivered even a little earlier than they normally do so that all of our teachers could eat lunch. The teachers raved about the pizza. Many of them had never had Tangy Tomato before! I told them it’s one of the staples in our house’s rotation! Thank you Tangy Tomato for helping us celebrate the hard work of our teachers and staff. We are really grateful.

This place is never open when they're hours say they are. When you call to find out they're actually open you get an attitude. Called at 1 to see when they were open till they said 9 called back 1 hour later to place order for later and now it's 4pm. I just rather order from someplace consistent.

Literally the best pizza I’ve had in my life. After being enthusiastically recommended by friends, it still surpassed my expectations by a substantial margin. Can’t wait to order again!

Absolutely the best deals on great New York style pizza and wings by a long shot, no comparison around. Saved over 40% compared to popular places around, free fast delivery is unheard of, ordered there special large one topping, 20 wings, 2 liter of soda, normally I pay over $70 dollars including delivery charge, and other weird charges which is insane! I can't believe I got this delivered to my door for $40.96, and yes this includes a 20% tip for driver.

Upon seeing a post from @eastwood_syracuse on Instagram sharing the Washington Post's pick for "Best Chicago Style Pizza in NYS," we knew we had to try it. We took a peek at the menu and quickly saw there Deals and Coupons section then selected the 10" Deep Dish 3 topping pizza, 10 wings, & 2 liter. On the deep dish, we ordered extra cheese, sausage, broccoli. The team even gave us a call when having to make a substitute for broccoli, but no worries, we switched to mushrooms. The man on the phone was very nice. About 15-20 minutes later I headed over to Burnet Ave. parked in the lot right along side of the building, and walked in. As I entered I was greeted by a cool spray painted tomato on the wall, as well as the kind smiling staff. The woman at the counter handed me the pizza and wings and I reached into the cooler to grab an orange soda. When I got home, we opened the pizza, gave it a quick cut, and dug in. The pizza dough was excellent. Very soft, the right chew and texture, the cheese was gooey and hot, perfect for that cheese pull and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Definitely an excellent deep dish, the best we've had so far in Syracuse. I would go back for the wings alone though! The perfect fry and crunch. We had gotten the Salt & Pepper wings...oh my gosh, amazing. I'd 100% go back and get a bucket of wings.
