Very nice trendy atmosphere. The menu is intriguing and offer some Italian, and steaks and seafood. Eaten here twice so far and have not been disappointed. The bartenders do a great job with drinks and knowing the menu. The food portions are plentiful. It seems like you can go from spending under $20-$50 on food choices here for entrées.

Came to Syracuse and sadly did not make a reservation! We arrived around 7:15 and were told there was no more table availability for the night, but we could order at the bar. The York had ample plush couch seating, perfect for cocktail sipping. We squeezed in at the bar and had ordered a few items off the menu, assuming this would be a small plates style venue. It was anything but. The cast iron meatballs were about a quarter pound each. They were delicious and served in a light red marinara sauce with spoonfuls of ricotta. This came out with the artichoke flatbread. This was very rich and heavy. I'd recommend always sharing this. The Calabrian rigate ($23) was the best item and spicy, but enough to share between 4 people. If you come here, get this. You won't regret it. Drinks were balanced and well presented. We really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Our first time in at The York wasn't one to disappoint!! We started the evening with the Shrimp Tempura Sushi Roll, this came out in a timely manner and was delicious!! The perfect amount of spicy without being overbearing. I had the NY Strip, cooked to medium rare and it could not have been better. The only downside was that the sandwich had a lot of sauce and the bun struggled to hold all the insides together. Overall we are very satisfied and plan to return back soon. Service was great as well, the ambiance is great. Definitely reminds me of a NYC vibe.

Always great food and awesome service. We had wedge salad w/ steak - was prepared perfect. Tenderloin skewers were tender and juicy paired with yellow rice , love it. Would get it again. We came in earlier at 5 it was pretty quiet but later on it gets busy and loud, but still nice ambiance.

Best place in town for oysters for sure. Knowledgeable bartenders who can make a proper cocktail with care and attention. Large food portions. Prices seem to be in line with most of the other restauants in Syracuse. Overall a great upscale but not pretentious option downtown. Closest thing to a NYC brasserie in Syracuse.

A very worthwhile visit. The food was different and good. I passed on the steak because the price seemed very high, and there was no indication it was Wagu. I sat at the bar, and my server was amazing. She was attentive, informative, and engaging. Plus, she always had a smile! I will recommend this as a stand-out establishment and encourage you to give it a try.

The staff there are extremely inconsiderate not to mention blatantly racist towards myself and my friends. Ignore us for more than half an hour and our food was cold. When we complained to the manager they disregarded us! Crazy enough I was on Facebook and saw someone who shared the same horrible experience. Something had got to be done.
I came here with my sons and we had a great time. Our server Arleigh was super friendly and very attentive. Is our first time in Syracuse and this place made our day. We order the cheese burger Mac and cheese, the burger and the filet mignon and as for dessert we order S'mores skillet. EVERYTHING was so delicious!!!! The ambience is very chic, the drinks are so good, impecable place, we'll definitely be back next time in Syracuse.
