My wife and I had never been to Tarrytown before, but on a whim got a reservation for our anniversary at Bistro 12. We couldn't recommend it more! We ate the lobster bisque, calamari and a Caesar salad to start. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the Ravioli Tartufata, both very delicious. Both the food and service were fantastic, would return in a heartbeat.

Fantastic- a true bistro. Cozy and warm. We were welcomed with genuine friendliness and felt right 'at home'. Very attentive service, yet relaxed. The food recommendation I got (Seafood capellini) was fantastic. The seafood tasted extremely fresh and sweet, and the sauce was delicious. The bread had a fantastic crust. Also loved the Tartufo for dessert. If I lived nearby, I would make this a regular stop.

We had a nice Friday night dinner with my family and the service was amazing. Miguel makes sure to give personal attention to clients making us feel so welcome. The place is decorated with his artwork and as a treat he sang to us with his ukulele! It was a fun unexpected treat! The food was excellent.

I love this place so much and have for many years--I live in NYC but THIS is my favorite place, the place I feel at home--fed with beautiful delicious food, and generous wine, the beauty of the place and the art (by Miguel), the warmth and love from the owners and server. They treated my husband, when he was disabled and going down, with the greatest kindness and care. This is my home, my food, my people. Love everything about it. I always feel renewed when I leave. A place of peace.

Met at the front door with a smile by Carlos and quickly seated. We shared a beet salad and enjoyed the bread. We each had a risotto, I had the seafood and my companion had the filet Mignon risotto. Had a delicious flan to cap it off!
