Really yummy and the best part is Phish! I’d go there every weekend just to watch Phish shows!

I have written many many reviews over the years and can count on one hand the number of negative reviews I left. It is not my typical way. However, Caputi's pub is a special bar/restaurant that is owed special treatment. During the insane period of time that was known as the Covid disaster, this establishment demanded (without any legal authority) to know what peoples' private medical information was. If you did not disclose your private legally-protected medical information to the person at the door during that time, thereby forfeiting your right to medical privacy and bodily autonomy then you were not permitted into their restaurant/bar. I have stayed true to my response, which was "no I will not divulge that information to you and I will never step foot in your establishment again"."all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive."

My favorite bar/restaurant in all of Buffalo, for a well-rounded night! I'm surprised it's not a common recommendation on wing lists as their wings, especially the weck wings, are 10/10. I'd recommend going Wednesday-Saturday so you can also get the Candyman pizzas (any of them, candyman style!), and sitting on the Candyman side for craft cocktails or Caputis side for a great beer menu. The section between Caputi's and Candyman has a pool table, dart boards, and a couple pinball machines so it really is the perfect spot for friends, dates, or even just to go by yourself and mingle with the staff and regulars.

Didn't ID me and my friend and then decided to come over later and grill us for ordering multiple drinks at once. Don't come here, they don't follow the law

I had my first candyman pizza the other night along side a pizza from Jays artisan to do a little comparison We reviewed the two on our ZaBills podcast. Candyman was better in my

Candyman is Caputi's attempt at market segmentation. Upon walking in all I could think of was Steve Buscemi saying "How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?"$16 for a personal pizza with one topping that was 1/3 cornicione and tasted like nothing but pepperoni grease is ridiculous. The menu claimed the "Candyman" had calabrian chilis and knotwood honey - it didn't. By calabrian chilis they meant generic chili powder and knotwood honey doesn't exist. What's sad is that their dough and oven is amazing, this could be beautiful pizza but it's bland and disappointing as is.

First off, the food was great. But, the staffing was bizarre. The bartender was taking care of the dining room as well. Our initial waters were the sole drinks we received. We received our food and that was the only other time we saw her. We had to go to the bar just to pay our bill. Lastly, the place was ice cold. It was probably 62° in the place. Bottom line..I'd say order out..don't dine in.

I’m not from Buffalo and was looking for a good place to order pizza late Saturday night. I saw the high rating and the pictures looked good @ Candyman’s Pizza, so I called and ordered a large extra cheese pizza. I was asked a name for the order and told 25 minutes. Upon arrival, there was no visible place named Candyman’s Pizza. After much confusion and entrance to the wrong place that had pizza on their sign, we found a door that said Candyman’s. Upon entrance to a bar area, we were sent to the connecting building through another door and wound up in an even darker and louder bar. After waiting awhile to find someone free, we said we were there to pick up a pizza. We were handed a tiny little box while my debit card was being charged and I was thoroughly confused about the size of the box. My boyfriend opened it up and there are no words to describe how much the little round thing inside did NOT in any way resemble a large, sauce covered, extra cheesey, gooey, hot, delicious pizza that I believed I had ordered. When my boyfriend pointed it out to the cashier, her response was, it’s a Quatro Formaggio wood-fired pizza and we only have one size. That was news to me and should have been relayed to me at the time of my order. I tried the tiny, lifeless, conglomeration of cold cheese and it went in the trash. Whatever it was, it wasn’t pizza. Never again. Ever.

Seriously, treat yourself & spend a night out here. Where to begin…the bartender’s & wait staff are top notch professionals who know their beer/liquors (shout out to the Thursday night crew!!)I love beer and Vin (the owner) ALWAYS has a amazing beer list. There’s always a solid $4.50 daily too. Seriously, the best craft list in the area. Pizzas are wood fired to perfection and there’s always a weekly specialty pizza offered too. There’s lots of cool events held too throughout each month. There’s no other bar in the area I’d love to support more than Caputi’s/Candyman.Kid-friendliness: Board games galore! Pool table, darts, tons of tv’s. Relaxed vibe for anyone for any age group.Dietary restrictions: Caputi’s has amazing salad, wraps & kitchen is very attentive if you need customization.

I have been going to this business forever, but I recently went in for a quick take out order and a beer at the bar. My food was extraordinary - just a simple burger and a salad. The salad had fresh tomatoes and really crispy greens - great job . The service was also great - friendly and accommodating - you won't be disappointed with this joint!

Caputi's Sheridan Pub has quickly become my go-to spot. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, it's heartening to find such a welcoming and friendly environment in Buffalo, offering an ambiance that's both cozy and inviting. The pub food here is truly something special, with flavors that comfort and delight the palate. Now, let's talk about the wings - they are hands-down the best in town, perfectly crispy and sauced to perfection! But it doesn't stop there. Caputi's is always keeping things fresh with their rotating specials, so there's always something new and exciting to try. Whether it's a twist on a classic dish or a unique seasonal offering, I know I can count on them to surprise and satisfy my taste buds. The service is what really sets Caputi's Sheridan Pub apart. The staff are attentive and personable, making every visit feel like I'm a welcomed friend rather than just another customer. It's clear that they take pride in providing an exceptional dining experience, and they consistently deliver on that promise. If you're in the area and craving some genuine pub fare with a side of top-notch hospitality and an ever-changing menu of delicious specials, don't hesitate to stop by Caputi's Sheridan Pub. You won't be disappointed!!
