Went to get food with 20 mins until close and was told they were closed. Got here at 9:40pm with a closing time of 10pm.

It was my 1st time there.I ordered 2 chicken thighs and onion rings. The rings were excellent. I was very pleased with 1 of the thighs, but the 2nd was larger and was very undercooked in the center. It was inedible because it was so bloody. There was a container of coleslaw that was included. I haven't tried that yet. I'm sure that it will be yummy. If the 2nd piece of chicken was cooked thoroughly I would have given 5 stars.

It is what it is. Mostly fried chicken and things like that. Chicken sandwiches sub wraps, fries onion rings that sort of stuff. The price is a bit high for what it is though. Also, the fried chicken is very unseasoned, breaded and fried but that’s it taste no salt, pepper, garlic, sugar, smoked Paprika, none of that. The basic fried chicken seasonings are absent! No, I understand. Some peoples pallets are very immature and any hint of spice freaks them out but why to them? Let them eat Chef Boyardee and the rest of us grown-ups will eat seasoned fried chicken

Buffalo Chicken sandwich was ok, but the Mac and cheese was terrible. In my opinion not worth the $18 for the combo. Better off going to kfc and saving your money.

Food tasted old, stale like it’s been sitting all day. Fries were not crispy at all. Definitely not worth the price, don’t recommend. Disgusting!

The chicken was dry, the wrap was super salty and no other flavor. The Mac n cheese could have easily been made better at home. Not worth the price, that’s for sure. Not going back

Chicken Joe's is a fried chicken haven that exceeded my taste buds' expectations. The crispy and flavorful chicken is undeniably the star, but what truly stood out were their unique potato cones. These golden cones of delight are a delightful twist on traditional sides, adding a delicious crunch to every bite. With friendly service and a memorable menu, Chicken Joe's is a must-try for fried chicken enthusiasts.

I miss chicken Joe's haven't lived in Troy in awhile was a great job and great food spot even when not working. The Mac n chees bites and the chicken sandwich were my go to, my kid loved the high school bag. I'd really love to see these guys open up in saratoga springs their food is needed here.
Was craving fried chicken, but my southern heart loves fried food in general, so I was probably expecting too much. The chicken nuggets were so dry and under seasoned to the point of almost being inedible, the mac and cheese bites were awful. The fried chicken itself was middle of the road and also lacked seasoning. The potato cones were delicious however and you can't go wrong with a corn nugget.

Chicken Joes in Troy is not only my favorite chicken stop, but the staff were so welcoming and friendly during our entire short visit. Leidi took our orders and delivered them to us at our table, she was not only incredibly kind but also professional which is a hard to mix to nail perfectly. Food and service were 10/10 and we will be back!
If I could give 0 stars I would. One of the WORST places I have ever eaten. Chicken/onion rings were so greasy you couldn’t even taste what was underneath. It was not busy, we were the only people in the whole place and I now know why. Mac and cheese was the most pathetic Mac I have ever eaten. Worse than the Stoffers box you find in the frozen aisle at the grocery store. All food basically had zero flavor. And not to mention the churro we ordered (menu says nothing about it being stuffed with a random sauce) that could be a problem for people who have food allergies. We spent over $30 and we should be refunded for the entire order as we were not able to even eat a quarter of it. Super disappointing…
