My husband and I are coffee addicts. This was possibly the best we've ever had, and the breakfast sandwich and English muffin were also out of this world. Sadly we live in North Carolina, or we'd be there every day. Absolutely outstanding, cannot recommend it highly enough.

Common crumb is a cute, dog friendly, cafe and bakery on rt 7 between Troy NY and Vermont. It's the perfect stop for maple lattes, homemade English muffin breakfast sandwiches and they even have music sometimes. A must try if you're in the area!Vegetarian options: They have vegan breakfast optionsWheelchair accessibility: No step to enter.

In my lifelong odyssey to uncover the quaintest nooks in the café cosmos, my partner and I have embarked on epic detours, braving the unknown in a gallant quest for the ultimate crumb. Among these sanctuaries of flavor and froth, Common Crumb emerges as a beacon of charm – an oasis in our gastronomic pilgrimage.Nestled in an unassuming corner, it’s a haven that whispers tales of au lait enchantment. Its allure isn’t just in its quaintness, but in how it cradles the soul, offering a warm embrace to weary travelers like us. Here, each morsel is a celebration, each sip a sonnet. Our journey has been studded with memorable encounters – from the rustic scones of Bar Harbor, brimming with the essence of coastal mornings, to the high-brow brews of Boulder, where pretension is a subtle art. We’ve savored the earthen charm of New York's posh pots and sipped under the scornful gaze of Parisian waiters. Yet, amidst this mosaic of culinary escapades, it’s the unpretentious charm of Common Crumb that has stolen our hearts. In its simplicity lies its grandeur; in its commonality, a unique splendor. Common Crumb isn’t just a café; it’s a narrative woven into our journey, a poetic chapter in our quest for café nirvana.

The cafe is so lovely with amazing coffee and baked goods! Aside from that Dana the owner kindly obliged us with an over the phone order ( from CA) and delivery for my sons birthday to RPI which was so special this morning. Thank you for the extra effort. And they loved the egg breakfast sandwitch and assorted baked goodies! Thank you!

I stop here on my drive from Vermont to Michigan. Dana and her crew are awesome people and they make some tasty delights -- including a fantastic ristretto expresso that gets to the heart of the bean. Highly recommended!

Showed up just before 2pm (Yelp listing said they were open until 3pm) walked in and we're told they were closing at 2! But she said she'd be kind enough to take our order and "accommodate" us!? Coffee was very good. The "Bakery" items not so much....both the cookie and apple dessert were very dry. The apple dessert was made with apple sauce (expected apples...after all it's Fall!) Guess because it's listed as a Bakery, silly us we expected bakery items. Coffee was good.

I really enjoyed stopping here, overall it was lovely. I listened to the previous reviews and ordered the English muffin with butter and raspberry jam and it was so good, my favorite. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich and I recommend you put some ketchup on it because it was hard to swallow and a bit dry without it. I also ordered coffee cake and a maple latte. The latte looked spectacular , just lukewarm and couldn’t really taste the maple flavor.
