Super friendly staff. Our family was was traveling home and it was getting late we were all hungry and tired and stopped here not knowing they were about to close. They where so nice and said it was alright for us to stay. They gave us great service even though we where there past closing time. The food was excellent and it was a beautiful restaurant. Will definitely stop back next time we're in the area. Thankyou to the staff there that night for going out of the way.

Stopped at Dino's on the way to our son's place in VT. Delicious Italian food and pizza like we haven't had in a long time! Reminded us all of the old mom and pop places we grew up knowing and loving. Came back a second and third time during our long stay and didn't have a bad dish. Soup was excellent, as was salad and entrees. Pizza great as well. I hope Dino's never changes and continues to deliver excellent food. We will be sure to stop in on our next VT trip. To those of you complaining about beer prices....stay home and get a case of Bud.

The family running the restaurant are great people. My spinach salad with the amazing cheese dressing was the best ever. The owners daughter makes a great cosmopolitan! My all time favorite is the Mediterranean pizza. Everyone is friendly & great food.

Good food, very classy, not what you expect from a pizza place, more like I high end Italian Restaurant... if your passing by - well worth a stop. 5 star would be to open a bit earlier for pizza takeout

Wow! Delicious pizza, crust and all. Cooked perfectly, I’m actually surprised at how good this is. On top of that, the young man and young woman who helped me, they were so kind & efficient. I’m going to come here way more often. Very impressed. Thank you.

Decent Italian restaurant, spotty service. Dino's is located in a small strip mall out on Route 7. It's the only restaurant in the area, which makes it convenient if you live in the area and don't want to drive into Troy. Plenty of parking. There's a long bar on your left as you enter the restaurant The seating area in the back gets the most attentive service. There are booths along the wall opposite the bar. The seating area in the front is best to avoid if possible. I had a problem with a pick up order. It wasn't just a little bit off, it was a lot off. Missing salad, marinara instead of olive oil. When ordering for takeout you should repeat your order at least twice. When you pick up your order, ask for an itemized bill and check your order versus the bill before you leave the restaurant. The simple steps will avoid any problems with your order. I've had hamburgers and fries at Dino's in the past, but I see that those are no longer on the menu. No sandwiches either. It seems like Dino's is now strictly an Italian restaurant serving dinner only. Food quality is decent and prices are fair. The menu is not extensive, but there is enough selection so that most diners will find something they like. I haven't tried the pizza, but I will in the near future. Overall, a decent local Italian restaurant that Needs to tighten up a little on customer service.

Really wish I had took a photo of my bill because I was as shocked as I assume most beer drinkers would be... Anyway, my wife and l stopped in at about 5:15 on a Friday evening and sat at the bar as we always do. We were visiting Dino's because we had a $30 Clipper savings certificate that was expiring soon and their website boasts "Come check out our Happy Hour for specials on food and drink". Being a food and drink guy, I was looking for a good experience. Anyway, we sat and there was a gentleman (who we were able to deduce was the owner) behind the bar tallying receipts or orders or something. He eventually approached and ask for our drink order. I politely asked if there were any Happy Hour food or drink specials to which he began muttering that they were always slow and had no bar business and weren't making any money - but he'd take care of us... Oh geez, and we're there with a discount certificate. To clear the air a little, I showed the voucher and apologized that despite business, we were trying this new eatery based on having a $30 off value and the website's Happy Hour claim. He looked at it and said something to the effect of well you need to spend like over $60. I was like, what?? and he says well yes you need to spend at least $30... Umm yeah, that's clearly outlined in the details of the voucher. So, he gets us menus and our first round of drinks which is a pint of Miller Lite for me and a diet soda for my wife. At this point he tells us his daughter will be taking care of the bar and disappears in the back. In short order the young lady asks us for our order and I again inquired about the Happy Hour specials or whatever... was really just trying to get some clarification since in reality the owner seemed to stumble here. His daughter proceeds to tell us they don't and have never had Happy Hour specials at the bar. I simply said you guys really need to take that marketing off your website. She agreed and took our orders, my wife - Sausage and Peppers in a red sauce over pasta with an add-on side salad and me - Linguine and Clams in a butter/white wine sauce. Both meals were good sized portions. As far as taste, we've had these dishes a various other establishments in the Albany, NY area. My wife described her dish as average to good (although she did have an odd hard chunk of something buried in the meal). My Linguine and Clams had an ample pile of clams sitting on top of a bed of noodles. The butter/white wine sauce was excessive, while some may like an ocean of sauce I found it made the dish messy to eat and the volume of liquid very potentially diluted the flavor because my meal came off as quite bland. I also must comment on the pasta... to me it had a unique taste (not in an appealing way) and was far past al dente where - in my opinion - pasta should be prepared. Anyway, the food was not inedible and not bad enough to complain about or send back so we continued our dining and I got another couple beers. At some point Dad is back behind the bar with his daughter and with a glace at us they're speaking italian to each other. No big deal, so we finish up and are approached by the daughter about desserts, coffee and such to which we decline but I do say to her hey, I wanted to let you know we've got this $30 certificate to which she states yes I know already. Hmm... Ok. She gets the bill and it's like $65 before the discount. That still seems a little steep for two pasta dishes, a side salad, three Miller Lights drafts and a diet soda. I look at the bill and here is the major contention and reason for a 1 star review - the beer costs were $21. Yes $7 each for cheap domestic swill. Imagine if I was drinking craft beer! I was floored and asked the daughter what was up with that she says yeah that's the price, the draft prices are more than if you got bottles. Ok, hold up - as mentioned earlier we're bar people. We understand typical pricing for a variety of drinks and the cost difference depending on packaging. Domestic bottled beer

My friend and a cousin and I ate here today and it was the best Italian dining I’ve experienced locally. Great menu, variety, quality and fresh everything. Impeccable service, prices are reasonable. Very nice ambiance. Five stars
