My husband’s pizza was somewhat oily & spicy, my margarita pizza was good.I never heard of the wines on the menu & when I asked the waitress about them, she knew nothing about the taste. She was friendly but couldn’t answer questions about wine. Limited choices for wine & beer.Nice atmosphere, but we do not plan to return.

We rented the upstairs dining room for my partner's birthday - 20 people. Maeve was great helping plan (and putting up with our shifting guest list and dietary needs), Chef Jake put together an excellent tasting menu and executed it so well. Service was great, the space was perfect for the party...the night could not have gone better!

Being a Little Pecks regular, my girlfriend and I decided to finally give Donna's a try one night while studying in the garden area. We had to order take-out since it's not technically part of Donna's dining service, which was totally fine. What wasn't fine was the shock I was in after I opened the takeout container only to find a few pieces of ravioli and squash in there. Just to make sure there wasn't anything wrong, I walked over to one of Donna's staff members and they assured me that was the correct portion size for the dish. It was tasty but waaaayyyy overpriced for the $24 I spent on it (picture attached). My girlfriend's salad had more substance to it and it was allegedly one of the "smaller" dishes on their menu. Pretty disappointed. Had I known I probably would've been more full off of one of their pizzas that I contemplated getting. Not worth the price.

Review based on several experiences at Donna's both dining in and delivery. Donna's is very over priced. $16.50 for two less than average sized meatballs. No bread or salad included with dinners yet they charge the same prices as other Italian restaurants that do include. Garlic knots burnt more than once. This review will self-destruct as soon as Donna's reads it.

We love Donna's. We ate upstairs because the dining room was full this past Friday ordered a pizza and salad. Wait staff was really nice and friendly but when we wen to cash out the bartender person was so rude we were really surprised. Tipped her anyway so may be realized she was an asshole after she got her tip. Anyway very diverse crowd which I think is a great draw for the place. Pizza and salad (the beet kale apple one) is great

My family and I LOVE coming to Donnas. The food and staff are excellent! I have had a couple of the pasta dishes, which are true and authentic to Italian style dishes, but the pizza will always keep me coming back! It’s the best Italian style pizza you can find in Troy. Plus, on Saturdays- they have a special you can’t beat- it’s one salad of your choice, a pizza and a bottle of red, white or bubbly wine for $50! Always a really enjoyable time dining here?

The D in Donna should stand for disappointment, at least that’s the tale that’s come to fruition tonight after not receiving our food. My girl and I walked in and were eventually greeted by a server, and they instructed us to sit wherever we liked. We traversed the building and found a booth upstairs. The atmosphere was calm, and moody, the bar was right across from us. The lovely ladies there handed us some menus and after a quick look we decided on some pizza and drinks. Nobody can possibly mess it up in an upstanding Italian restaurant right? Wrong. The drinks were subpar, overflowing with too much bitters and incomplete nonetheless, it held us over for nearly an hour though. That was when we faced each other and wondered where’s our pizza? The bartender said she’ll check but never came back to us with an answer. After about another 15 minutes my girl closed out the tab when she heard from the bartender they just started making our pizza. Unfortunately we’re not the type of people to wait an hour for one small pie of pizza. So we left the restaurant but not without noticing new customers that came after us eating their meals. I don’t know if it was a ticket not going through, or the kitchen was backed up, but seeing new people eat before us can’t help me think that they forgot about us. And I hope to forget about them.

I've been here twice now. Food is delicious. I got the chicken parm twice now. It's thin and crispy and delicious. The sauce on the spaghetti is very flavorful. I tried the garlic knots and they were delicious, however, they were very slightly undercooked. I still enjoyed them a lot though. I tried my friend's pizza and that was also delicious.The service is friendly. One star off for the value though. It's pricey (again, it's delicious!) but I feel like most places these days at least give you two pieces of chicken. I'll go back, but it won't be a regular spot.
