Bought 3 Rum Cakes at Hartford, CT boat show; coconut, banana, and black raspberry. These are amazing, moist and very flavorful. I will definitely be ordering again, to making a trip to Troy. The people who were staffing the booth were friendly and personable. I highly recommend Goodway Gourmet and look forward to being a long time customer!

We were lucky enough to stumple upon Goodway at the Bethel Woods Holiday Market this weekend. They had samples of everything...very organized, friendly and possibly the best rum cakes I've ever tasted. We went with the banana and the coconut butter. Absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend.

I ordered a Gourmet Caribbean Rum Cake for a friend that lives in NY (I am on the West Coast). He and his family have raved about the rum cake here, saying it's the best they've ever had. It was very easy to place an order online and it was delivered much sooner than I had anticipated, which was a nice surprise. I did request that a note be included with the rum cake but the recipient didn't receive one. This was a little disappointing as it was a special occasion. I know it was a minor detail but when you pay $45+ for a rum cake + shipping, you would hope a note request would not be missed. I understand that things happen but I emailed the bakery about this and they never replied to me.

I was at the Timonium Fairgrounds today and after tasting a sample I bought a Caribbean Rum Cake. Just had a piece and decided it is going to take major willpower not to go back and buy the rest of their inventory! Just delicious. And I must add all the people working the booth were just lovely, friendly and made the whole "Goodway Gourmet" experience a true joy!!

Tried samples at the garlic festival, they were fantastic. Told the lady I wanted a rum cake like I sampled ($16) and she gave me the gluten free version. Not what I asked for- tried it at home, threw it out. I guess they wanted to unload the gluten free cakes. READ THE LABELS before you leave the booth. If intentional it was dishonest. If not intentional it was a waste of my money.

I saw them being featured on the morning news as a vendor at the NYS Fair. Later this week I went to the Fair and stopped at their booth for a tasting. I am not typically a fan of rum cake, as I find them dry and bland. WOW!! These are the most flavorable, moist and dense rum cake I have ever tasted. I bought the original Caribbean and a Coconut rum cake.The cakes a perfect on their own, with a cup of tea/coffee or glass of cold milk. I am hooked and will order from them. When I pass through Albany, I will detour to Troy to stop at the bakery to bring a gift to share with others.

We always go to the garlic festival in Bennington VA and buy a ton of garlic, BUT our favorite things are these rum cakes!! They freeze beautifully & I cannot recommend them enough. We buy several & give them as gifts.

We discovered this at the boat show in mohegan sun. We just stumbled across them again at the big E. My night, day, year has been made. This is the best. My mouth is watering hours after I ate the cake. Ive been craving it for a year. So happy. The owner is absolutely amazing as well. I will definitely buy this cale every time I can. I even got cakes for my family for the holidays to mail to them. The owner was so helpful and had such a good vibe. Im one happy lady. Just buy the cake. You wont regret it.

My husband and I made our first trip to the New York State Fair yesterday and ran across the two friendliest people giving out samples of rum cake, so of course we had to stop and try it. We ended up buying two cakes, coconut rum and raspberry. They are so delicious! I can’t recommend them enough.
