The burger was good. However, I asked for a desert suggestion, and I was recommended the lavender maple pecan pie. This pie ruined my experience, not only was it $15, but it also made me get food poisoning. I was disappointed at the desert experience because the burger was good, and it pains me to post a 2 star review.

Nighthawks is one of my favorite places to eat in Troy! The menu is fascinating and filled with bangers, and the staff is super friendly. I’ve had some of my all-time favorite dishes eating here.As a note—the attached photos (save for the one with the cod and greens, which I had last night and it was amazing) aren’t just from recent menus. I’ve been here a bunch of times and wanted to highlight some of my favorite meals there! By the way, get the opera cake for dessert.

Cool little restaurant. Small and unique menu . I heard really good things about the cheeseburger, so I tried it as is. I wasn’t a fan of it for a few reasons but would try it again ordering differently next time- with no house sauce, cooked medium rare. I’m usually down for a messy burger but this was saturated and soggy all around. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was really cool, I dig the pink lighting. The house salad was really awesome and the cheese balls were also great. I will definitely come back here when in town.Parking: Easy to find a street spot and it’s free after 6pm (I believe)Wheelchair accessibility: Yes street level

Just wish there were more good options during lunch. Just seems off having 4 pages of drinks on the menu and one page of food at lunch.

A very nice restaurant, but generally I don't enjoy their dinner menus. It's a bit too modern for my tastes with unusual and trendy dishes that seem to prioritize unusual ingredients over tasty dishes. That said, if you like that thing, they definitely do it well.I like stopping in for a burger or veggie burger at lunch, but their extended menu just isn't for me. The restaurant is run very well, staff is extremely professional, and the atmosphere is great.
We love this spot but hadn't been in a while. We met some friends there this past Saturday. Cocktails were great - imaginative and delicious. We shared two apps - mussels and potatoes (recommended by our server). The potatoes were delicious and the mussels were super tender and served in a unique way. Two of us had the scallop entree, one had the pasta, and one was hankering for a burger. All were fantastic - I had the scallops and I think they were the best scallops I've ever had. Hope to get back soon!

Place was recommended because of its burgers. Wanted to see if they were better than those at Illusive's in Rensselaer, but although good, they are not as good as Illusive's. When I asked for the burger to be medium well, I was told it was a smashed type of burger so it would come out well done, which made sense. When I got the burger however, it was on the medium side, so not sure why I was told it would be well done. House wine glass was 14 bucks, and have had definitely fuller glasses for that price. Overall, decent burger, but is not a burger that merits a second visit.
