Excellent pizza and antipasto. An absolute must do. Staff is always attentive and the place in South Troy is totally old school.

Had slice sirloin,Medium rare was closer to well and it was .The best thing about the meal was the baked potato! Prices were higher than advertised .Where else in the area when you order a entree you don't get a house salad or a cup of soup down .potato was hot Meat was cold and on the fatty side not a choice cut but more like a Select or Canadian grade of meat Maybe there Pizza is good don't know .My Girlfriend had Chef Special that was pasta in clam Sauce with seafood 3 shrimp 3 scallops and 3 clams very small portion.again price was wrong and not that benefits the customer. Will not be stopping in anytime in the future.

I hope the staff was just having a bad night. I used to love this place, but tonight I paid $25+ for a very sad 24 cut pizza. Paper thin, not like it has been for years. Some slices had small holes in them it was so thin. Assuming new management or owners. .

Can't go wrong with Red Front. The place has been around since my Dad was a kid (maybe longer). Pizza is great, the rest of the Italian dishes they serve are excellent. Try the mozzarella with melba sauce.

Conversation with anyone NOT from Troy:"Yes, the cheese is under the sauce. Yes, I know that's weird. Yes, the sauce is sweet... Just try it."One week later:"Red Front. The name of the place is Red Front. No I doubt they deliver to you..."

Just picked up our take out dinners of meat bologneses and lasagna. Lasagna was okay.the bolognese was very heavy with pepper.that is all you tasted was pepper.did not enjoy it.if we dined in I would have sent the dinner back.will stick with pizza the next time.

It's crazy that I've lived in Troy for 8 years and never tried this place. If you like a sweeter sauce, COB pizza is excellent. Definitely worth a try.

Food was excellent from rare prime rib to eggplant parm to pasta and meatballs to fried ravoli . All were delicious food was hot. Our server was pleasant, and it was Saturday night at about 6 pm. We did not have reservations but were seated immediately. The bar was hopping, and the dining area was busy. Food is reasonably priced. Atmosphere on the same as testos in Troy or Kay's in Averill Park. It's not a dressy place. Causal dress... jeans and T-shirts are fine. We would go back again to the Red Front.

I've been a customer at Red Front for over eight years and have had largely positive experiences. Their wait staff is kind and works hard. This review has nothing to do with them. Tonight, I ordered the same chicken cutlet sub that I've ordered over 30 times. I usually receive a chicken cutlet sandwich in return, but tonight, I did not. I was first surprised to be charged $15 for the sandwich, which (I think) the last time cost $12, but that didn't bother me. Things are getting more expensive, and I am happy to pay more for good food. I also tipped a couple dollars because again- the wait staff is great. But when I got home (10 minute walk), I realized I did not receive a chicken cutlet sub. I received a McChicken. A $15 McChicken. I first wrote "glorified" McChicken, but McChickens have the same amount of food and higher quality chicken on them than this sandwich, so I don't want to insult McDonald's. I called to voice my issue, and while the wait staff was empathetic, they offered no solution, so here I am. I have never left a negative review on a product that I've bought or a restaurant that I've been to. I usually have better things to do. I would prefer to email them than to angrily yelp my complaint, but I cannot find an email, so here I am, being that guy. I will reiterate once more that the wait staff is great, but if this is what they are being forced to serve, then this place is going downhill fast. Sad to say my tenure as a customer here is over.
