One of the best bakeries on the planet. Their breads, pastries, etc., are incredible. In particular their dark rye is off the hook. They call it a rye but it reads like the best pumpernickel you've ever tried.

Nearly everything we've tried from here is amazing but my favorites are the Kouign-amann, almond croissant, and chocolate pecan tart. Bagels weren't my fav--they were a little dense for my liking.

My husband is always hunting for croissants and we found this place on a Saturday. It was busy but the line moves quickly. And I tried their kouign amann. So good! We loved everything. I also love that they allow dogs inside because they were all so cute and it made my day.

This is truly the best bakery around. They make a plethora of options and each is more decadent then the last. They are friendly and, while the prices are a bit higher, the quality absolutely makes it worthwhile. Also, if you can get a slice of their pizza, you will be rethinking your regular pizza joint going forward.

If I would own a bakery, I would die for the baker who makes that almond croissant. It was so not so sweet and crispy; I might dream about it tonight. This place isn’t that big and I think they focus mainly on baking. I can tell they make pastry in the morning and bread later in the day. Ambiance is like a bakery factory and a decent place to sit.The biggest and probably the only thing that matters is the bakery part. We had the chocolate croissant and almond one. I might just come back to Troy for those.

Very good pastries and excellent bread. They don't make anything that is gluten-free. Prices are high.

Holy schmeckleroni!! That was freaking fantastic. I was first attracted to the savory biscuit, but inquired as to staff-favorite which led me to the cinnamon roll. I got both, as I’m on an adventureBoth blew me away. One of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had a croissant meets a cinnamon rollI’ll be back !

I stop here whenever I drive cross country- that's how good everything is. Croissants are best I've ever had in the U.S. and bread is delicious. Such a sweet place!

They have the most amazing bread there. I picked up some sourdough, which is just wonderful in texture and taste. Their turkey apple sandwiches likewise wonderful. And the cinnamon roll was amazing. Light with just the right amount of cinnamon, sugar and crispiness. Superb pastry.

A great family-run bakery with the freshest of fresh baked goods they're making and baking while you stand there and place your order. Incredible place in a lovely Victorian portion of downtown Troy used for filming late 1800 s

Everything looked great and tasted even better. Efficient and friendly staff. Still thinking about the apple tart pastry!

This is one of the closest places you’ll get to a boulangerie and viennoiserie in this area. However, a couple things hold it back from being great, hence the 4 stars. The workers can be a bit snooty, and sometimes the goods are overbaked bordering on being burnt, so there is some inconsistency.

Love everything from here! Their cinnamon rolls are insanely good.
