This was my first visit. Loved it! After business hours you can park in the lot across the street. Very convenient. Not really a dive or ruin pub, but really good local pub.

We got wings and a burger for take away and our server/bartender India was amazing. The food was perfect and the blue cheese dressing is to die for!!!Dietary restrictions: India was sure to tell us about the gluten free buns and lettuce wrap options for burgers and other sandwiches.

Good food, relatively cheap drinks, friendly atmosphere. Certain nights things can get a little crowded but that's to be expected in Troy. My wife and I love coming here.Parking: If it is busy, park on a side street and walk a few blocks.
Wings were top notch! Beer selection like no other around. Bartender was very relaxed & kept up with the entire bar. Kudos to him. Bathrooms were a bit on the dingy side but can't expect much for a college bar.

If u r a college age kid the Ruck is ok but it's in no way sophisticated or elegant or original, things I admire, plus I don't like beer.

Only stopped for an afternoon drink. Not too busy. Had a nice atmosphere. We were able to have a conversation without yelling.
Great food. The pretzels. The vegan buffalo wrap. I don't drink anymore but I recall the beer selection always being on point.

From the college days where a customer and bartender tried to trick us into paying the customers tab with the old "I bet you can't finish two shots before I finish two beers" scam to now, the Ruck hasn't changed a bit. Still the same sticky tables and floors, same local clientele, average bar food, and fantastic beer selection.
