“I tried this place after hearing about it on Instagram. Me and my husband went after the Washington Heights 5K that he participated in. We came a little early because I thought they opened at 10 but then I realized today is Sunday and they open an hour later so we went into Marshalls to kill time. Me and my husband both got juice. Usually when I have fresh juice at another place, most times they are not served cold and refreshing, and this place I had it cold and refreshing how I love it. “The food was very pleasing and had a really nice base. The base was tangy, sweet, sour and savory. The toppings were filling up the top and very nicely placed. Also they're mini size was perfect and small but filling. The service was very well and the workers did not take that long. I would say we waiting less than a minute for the acai bowl to be ready! Also, I had really enjoyed the music playlist, and had a nice interaction about music with the worker. The atmosphere was very nice, they're were nice, bright colors, a comfy couch and clear menus. In addition, they were very considerate and added a charging station, even though i did not use it, it seemed very nice. Love this place and I ordered the Purple Rain. My first time and this place made a really nice impression on me.“

“Such a great addition to downtown White Plains! Went there for salads today and they were amazing. Fresh ingredients, great combo and choices and dressing with so good (sweet and smoky chipotle). Selection of smoothies and bowls also look good. Interior is clean and bright with some seating. Prices are reasonable compared to similar places. Staff was friendly. Definitely our new go to salad place and so convenient!“

This place has loads of healthy, fresh options that fit my dietary requirements and restrictions. The ackee & saltfish and callaloo empanadas are top tier!! They are bursting with flavor and you will not want to put them down. Who knew these could be so good in an empanada? I've had the whitening combo with fried dumpling and it was okay. I thought this entree could use more flavor. They have a diversified menu including sweet treats like waffles, salads, smoothies and desserts. There's still so much that I haven't yet tried. I can say that the empanadas are totally bomb though so if you try anything be sure to try those!“

The refresher drinks on the sweeter side but still very good.Now the food is interesting I would never guessed to use jackfruit as a substitute but it works nicely. The best option I believe, this is just my opinion you can choose whatever you want, are the tacos. The burrito is good also but the taco is just better for some reason maybe its the shell they use for the taco, its a simple hardshell taco but it’s simplicity allows that cashew creme, kale and jackfruit flavor to really stand out.“

Everyone behind the counter has knowledge of what is available in the store and you can pick their brains about what ails you and what to take to treat or cure your ailments. One of my personal favorites is the Cashew Pep. It is what it's called and does what it is. Lol a nice cashew infused drink that gives you a much needed boost of energy. A burst of energy. A pep! Located in the Bronx, on White Pains Rd, off Gunhill Rd. Definitely a hidden gem. Just don't get too much Cashew Pep. Leave some for me!! See you there!!“
