“Food establishment is under relatively new ownership, it was formerly Parkview Deli and taken over I believe around summer of 2023. The main difference from prior owner is that this is no longer mainly a sandwich joint. It's now mainly a pizza place, followed by breakfast, burgers, sandwiches and etc. They don't make special sandwiches but if you tell them what and how you want them to make it then they'll make it for you. I've already have a eaten a few items from here and they're all decent if not great. If you haven't had then try the cheeseburger pizza - no pickles for me. I was blown away because it just tasted so weird but in such a good way. I will write that the cheeseburger pizza is not an everyday pizza but something as a once in a while order. My wife love's their antipasto salad. Service is great and the owners are there putting in the work along side with the workers. Marshall is a wonderful dude to interact with. Cash/credit. Enough parking. Self seating ... there's some tables and chairs off to the left upon entry for seating. There's also, I think, about 3 tables for outdoor seating.”
“I know it's off season but I owe this place a review. There's hard and soft ice cream options, with plenty of flavors to select from. My favorite is maple walnut (hard) and my wife's fav is the blueberry cheesecake (soft). Also, the size to price ratio is unbeatable within a 30 minute drive circumference. There's also food (fast food type like burgers, hotdogs and fried) around the other exposed size of the building, which I've had and taste great. Service has always been super helpful and with a smile. Although I'm a local, I sometimes feel like I get weird looks from other locals waiting in line but this will not stop me from getting good ice cream. Oh, I should mention this place is animal friendly and have ice cream options for dogs.”
“Came across this cute coffee shop while driving from the Hudson Valley to Ithaca. What a gem! Fantastic coffee & snacks (we bought a pound to take home) and really friendly barista/owners. The renovation is sunny, open and welcoming, we wished we could hang out & not have to get back on the road! Highly recommend!”
“I’m embarrassed that it took us so long to come to this local establishment. We have had Awestruck cider at home but been wanting to visit and try a flight.Staff is friendly. Place is immaculate. The cider is of course excellent. I liked the variety of flavors available. Even the flavors I didn’t like as much were enjoyable. I hope to come back soon and visit more often. Looking forward to trying the summer flavors.”
“I stopped in on this rainy day to grab a Latte and sausage egg and cheese Sandwich!! It was delicious ?. As a Sidney Alumni and supporter of local shops I would come back!! Plus, the owners are super friendly!”
“I had a turkey bacon wrap and my wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Both of our sandwiches were very tasty. I had macaroni salad that was also good. My wife said that her fries were hot and crispy.”
“This is a great! The food was great. It has a very small intimate feel. There are only a few tables so I would recommend a reservation. Their menu rotates so it's not the same thing every time.Parking: Like the seating parking is limited.”
“Food is absolutely delicious, very tasty with large portions. So if you go away hungry, something is wrong. Everything from waitresses to atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. Just love this place! Kid friendly as well.”
“YES! Reasonable, good sushi upstate. I am vegetarian so I don't personally eat a wide variety on the menu but what I had (avocado roll, sweet potato tempura roll, soup, had ms so far had been really good. My partner liked the sauce which reminds me of the sauce they put in an eel roll, but I am more if a purest in that respect and I want to taste the sweet potato more. Sauce was overpowering to me. Next I will try their boba, stay tuned.”
“A hidden gem in an historic village, you can’t go wrong at The Empire! The food is top notch, in particular any curry, Persian, or Mediterranean dish. The biryani is superb. Then again, the fish tacos are also fantastic! Mediterranean Breeze is a favorite appetizer, and we’ve never had anything like it anywhere else. Q and Aileen sling the beat cocktails in the Butternut Valley. You’ll be sorry if you don’t stop here.Vegetarian options: Many, many options for everyone!!”
“Was in once and ordered the Mt. Upton omelette. Fantastic. It took up the whole plate and was a challenge to eat. A friend ordered the blueberry pancakes. Also the size of a large plate. He ate one of two. Prices are more than reasonable. Will be back. Often.”
“I really enjoyed the chicken quesadilla's. They were absolutely delicious. The homemade salsa and beef tacos were really good too. My husband and I will definitely be back. Great prices and service.”
“Family owned Chinese restaurant with delicious food — best in the area. Service is always very fast and the food is relatively cheap. I wish they would bring back the seats that were available inside before the pandemic.”
“Excellent pizza. Sausage and peppers. Wow! Among the best. Great crust too.Friendly staff. Very busy even on a Thursday evening. Recommend stopping in.Parking: Street parking was limited due to the layout. Large public parking lot across the street. Light traffic. Easy walk.”
“My trucker experience here = ExcellentAppt was at 6am they came to me gave me a door right away.Enough room to maneuver and back to dock.Unloading was quick.Paperwork was also quick.“Parking on street for overnight”*Drive past do a u-turn park out front on right side for overnight.*All in All awesome place to do a deliveryKeep up the great work ??????”
“This is my favorite ice cream place in Sidney. They are often open late, even as late as 11 or 12 - they do have a posted closing time of 9pm but on busy days they'll stay open as late as people are coming; they serve the customer. They offer hot food too,, have a working carousel ? with music, picnic tables, and are a very friendly bunch!”
“I ordered a meat lovers pizza, and it was good. I moved here from Long Island, and it is close to long island pizza. I highly recommend going to this establishment!!”
“Excellent service, good food and reasonable prices. My family had a very good dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Server was very open and willing to help will special requests as to ingredients in each order. We were a party of four and three had special requests and questions about ingredients.Parking: Several (unpaved) off-street spots and also a municipal parking behind the restaurant.”
“The pizza is the best in town. We got the 2 pizza special with 2 dozen wing and a 2 liter Coke, which was over $70, ouch! It did feed five people with leftovers, so I guess that’s not that bad.”
“Used the drive thru for breakfast sandwich & donut. Several cars ahead of me, service was reasonably fast. Chatty staff when dealing with locals or regulars but overall pleasant. Sandwich was hot & cheese nicely melted. Only negative was that I ordered a frosted chocolate donut & when I opened the bag later found it was a plain donut with chocolate frosting. Need to remember to check the bag before driving away.”
“I only leave reviews unless well-deserved, and to say that the Girl, right around my age, Deserves a raise is an understatement. It look like she was the only girl there and she was so kind. Bless your night. From- girl who only got tea”

“This review is for the liquor store that is next door and part of the Inn. Always friendly and charming service. If the Inn is really busy then you may have to wait a bit for someone to come out of the Inn and open the door to the liquor store to serve you.”
