the food in this place is really pathetic. everything tastes like it's old food that has been cooked & refrigerated several times & then served. two servers were outside smoking & i noticed they did not wash their hands when they started serving! i got our food to go or else i would have sent the whole mess back! instead it all went in the trash! i won't be back even if they start giving food away free. it's that nasty

I read the reviews and decided to check it out. We pulled into the parking lot and we liked what we saw so far. A local place that screamed genuine. once entering we were warmly greeted which was nice. We looked over the menu and were told that 90% of the items were already gone. It was 4pm on a Thursday. This was very disappointing. We ordered what we could and the food was good but it really wasnt what we wanted. When what we wanted wasnt available (most thing not available) we should have just left. We didnt want to be rude and stayed but it really did make out dinner enjoyable. Would I stop in again if in the area? I really dont know. What we had was OK but not good enough to pull me back unfortunately. I really wanted to love this place, I really did. I didnt have the chance to even try. That said, the waitstaff were great and friendly.

Pat and Boneyard did the catering and bar for our wedding October 16th. Everything was absolutely phenomenal! We consider ourselves garbage plate aficionado's, as we get them anyplace that has one, an this one is in our top 3 all time! The combination of pulled pork, baked beans, corn, Mac & Cheese and coleslaw mixed together with bbq sauce and a cornbread kicker was phenomenal! It was one of the most unique garbage plates we've had. It is a mouthwatering mix of bbq favorites but isn't overwhelming. A must try for any bbq fan!

Boneyard catered and did our bar this past weekend at Orchard Grove Farms and it was absolutely amazing. Pat and his staff were amazing from the beginning. The food was perfect and couldn’t have been any better. The waitresses were great and provided amazing service. They even went around on the dance floor and gave out shots to everyone! We HIGHLY recommend Boneyard BBQ for catering and will definitely be back to the restaurant soon! Thanks again for everything!

3rd time here. Still happy with the food. Ordered a rib and chicken combo and he ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Unfortunately still no smoked wings or hawg wings. Quick service and good food. I enjoy their pulled pork- could not taste much smoke flavor but it is juicy and flavorful. There is seasoning in the pork that gives nice but nuanced flavor to the pork that the pork can be enjoyed without the BBQ sauce or just a bit of sauce. This is different from many other pulled pork I had which relies heavily on the BBQ sauce. However, for people who likes more BBQ sauce, the flavor also won't overpower or too much. This is true for today's rib - it has a rich smoky flavor and I can taste the dry rub seasoning. The rib was cooked perfectly: tender and juicy. I didn't add extra BBQ sauce and the rib tasted just great to me. The chicken also has a nice smoky flavor as you can tell from the skin. Not seeing much burned area on this piece and the majority of the chicken shows a consistent "smoky tan". First had the wings any then the breast. Wings are tender and perfect, though I'm not a big fan of the vinegar flavor on the skin. And breast, well, I have to say I'm not surprised that the breast is less tasty and dry. Feels like this is the problem for most of the smoked or cooked whole chicken - the thick breast is always overcooked and the seasoning was not able to make through. Fries is ordinary, not the best crisp ones but also not the soggy. The slaw is still constantly peppery with big chunks of black pepper. Per the past three visits, Boneyard still ranks as the top BBQ places I tried so far in this area. #bbq

So good. The food, the service, the atmosphere. Sooo fun and sooo yummy. The owner is awesome. Great bbq. The cornbread muffins looked and tasted divine. The ribs and the chicken were my favorite too.

This place is legit. Love the vibe and the friendliness is off the charts. We hit the Saturday special of smoked wings that were amazing. Ribs rocked, Mac and cheese were loved everyone. Felt like family.
