Amazing service and the staff treats you like family. I love supporting local, but this place makes it easy to part ways with my paycheck.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat pork

I recently reached out to Linda Irwin for assisting with food catered for a family party. Linda was awesome providing suggestions for menu ideas. The food was absolutely delicious (Squash bisque with mini wraps). I also ordered her famous cookies which she custom makes to any type of occasion. Highly recommend for your next party!

The bed bugs and cockroaches have nicer personalities than the people who work there.

Well let’s start with this... I actually enjoyed their food but until I found out that they falsely accused our family of taking a small fence that was put around flowers on OUR front sidewalk and what took me by surprise is that when I walk my dogs I say good morning and it’s so mean to not even ask myself of my spouse but ask a friend of ours ? Wow I’m so hurt because we don’t need some dollar store gate we both work two jobs and are good people.

I bought a cake and a dozen of cookies for my daughter's 7th birthday party. I had it decorated as "Under the Sea" theme. It turned out great. Had several compliments on how delicious the cake was. The people who work there are always helpful and very nice. I've also had lunch their a handful of times and it's always delicious.

We stopped off here en route between Boston and Rochester. I wish we had just kept on going. The atmosphere: cute! A wide arrangement of cookbooks all around to browse, and a homey atmosphere. That's the best part of Irwin's. When we arrived around lunchtime, the waitress could have cared less about us. We sat down, and waited. With two small children. And waited some more, without even so much as a nod. (There are only about 10 tables in the restaurant.). I finally got up and poured glasses of water from the water pitcher at the serving station, brought them to the table, and my youngest promptly spilled the entire glass all over the table and chair. Shockingly, after I ran to the kitchen to find someone who could give us a towel, no one came out to help. I had to go to the counter to ask for another as the waitress watched us clean it up. This was about par for our wait service throughout the meal. For some reason, we were ignored while the regular customers were not. The food was poor, and frankly not very tasty: over-mayonnaised tuna salad, sliced American cheese grilled cheese sandwich, and (not surprisingly) lemonade mix. If you are a vegetarian or pescatarian, there are exactly three things on the menu for you: tuna salad, lettuce salad, and grilled cheese. Really - all the other salads had meat in them. The best thing we ate were the sweet potato fries, which were quite good. I won't mention the bathrooms except to say that I've seen a lot better, not much worse. Next time, we may just avoid Utica altogether.
