My friends and I had the most delicious lunch and best service we’ve ever encountered. We get together twice a month and try out different places. This will definitely be a regular for us now! Thank you!!

Better than bar food! Excellent Utica Greens. Fun atmosphere - Bills game on when we were there and place was full of energy.

The food was horrible, the waitress was rude, and we were overcharged for the worst food I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant In addition to that we were charged a fee for using a credit card. Nobody carries cash anymore especially since a cashless society is being promoted. Very poor customer service and business practices.

I had been told several times to try out Old School and I'm so glad I did tonight. 6 of us went before an event for an early dinner and were promptly seated by Sara, an absolutely fantastic server. I'd recommend trying out a $4 cosmo for happy hour. It was fantastic and didn't taste like a $4 drink! If a place has a fried bologna sandwich on their menu, I'm getting it, and I have to say, Old School's was one of the best I've had in a long time. The roll it was on was brushed with garlic butter which was a great touch. I'll definitely be back for it. Everyone I was with was happy with their orders. It definitely has a bar feel to it, but it's not crowded or cramped and is clean. I am looking forward to my next trip there!

Hands down one of these best places to go and have quiet drink or meal must

Contrary to other reviews, service on a semi-busy Saturday night with two bartenders was subpar...sat there more than five minutes before being greeted/acknowledged by either barkeep. Food was ok, the steak sandwich with greens came out looking nowhere the size of the pictures posted here, and the 10 piece wings had half of them slightly larger than sparrow wings, one of them having less than one bite of meat on it. The best part was getting the bill. The bartender tallied up my tab and ran my card without giving me a detailed receipt/slip. After I asked more than once for an actual receipt to go with the credit card slip, she finally replied that they don't do that because they figure it out and enter the total into the credit card machine. She eventually dug out the crumpled up handwritten ticket and gave it to me while saying I could check it over to make sure she didn't gypped me. The only item missing was my second draft, which I definitely was charged for because there's no way the sandwich, order of wings and 2 UC drafts at $3 each could come to $42.37, even with Oneida county's 8.75% sales tax. Oh well, live and learn and just stick to the places you know

This place deserves MUCH higher ratings! Locals must not know how good they have it.Wife just said close to the best sandwich her whole life. The steak was actual steak, not just thin sliced beef. Steak was tender and full of flavor, so definitely a good cut cooked perfectly. Onions, peppers, and gravy(?) melted together into something awesome. BUT the bread is not just store bought, they bake their own!!! Seems like garlic butter or something on top just takes this trip to space.Only regret is eating lunch, because NO way either of us could have eaten that much ourselves. We split it and both of us are FULL!Btw Sarah awesome serving

I friend of mine recently purchased this bar. Spent the afternoon and the drinks were prepared correctly, the prices were fair and the company surreal and fun. It’s still in the honeymoon phase and time will tell if the quality is sustained. Off to a good start and I wish them well.

Food was ok. Greens were not good at all. No flavor or heat to them. Waitress was great and love the atmosphere. Not a place I will frequent though.

Service here was amazing, and the food was even better!! Will definitely be back to try the chicken riggies another time. If you like flavor and feeling satisfied after a meal, this is your place.

For first-timers here or those who can't decide what to order, the chicken riggies with greens are to die for! I would normally buy these for dinner and sometimes I would have the steak sandwich for lunch. Those are my usual!

We were greeted immediately by one of the nicest bartenders ever and got menus right after sitting down. She was working the whole bar and table area and killed it! Once the food came out we were pleased with the presentation, and even more satisfied with the taste. The risotto balls were perfectly cooked and warm inside, and the chicken sandwich had so many flavors going on that were perfect. The real star of the show were the fries/chips. They were so soft inside but held their shape on the outside, low key obsessed with them. Will definitely be back, the restaurant had great vibes and super clean bathrooms, everything was great!

Pretty good food and a great vibe. The greens were just okay, not the best I've had but the service was incredible. They have music occasionally as well.
