This pizza changed my life!! Literally!I was on the road with a couple friends, busking in the street. Anthony had just opened Pie Squared and invited us to all come try a slice.He gave all three of us a perfect, freshly made, classic cheese slice on the house.Not only was this one of the nicest things anyone has ever done, but this is literally the best pizza I’ve ever had!!!My family is Italian (first generation) and lived 30 minutes from NYC so I’ve had good pizza, but this one was truly the absolute best, ever.It’s been 3 years since I was in Utica, and I’m still dreaming of this pizza!!It has forever ruined pizza for me lol ?No other pizza even comes close!P.S. - He also gave us the little fried donuts with fresh raspberry sauce. Incredible also!

Anthony has created and perfected his recipes that can’t be beat. He uses only the best ingredients and makes everything fresh. Not only is he a talented chef but, he serves with care and treats everyone around him the way he wants to be treated. He has grown so much and accomplished the first of many goals by just creating his brand. Hopefully expansion will be in both Anthony and the business’ future because someone and something this great should have no limits.Getting started is the hardest step and no one can say that this industry is easy.So, please.....give credit and encouragement where it’s deserved. As well as constructive criticism, that’s a major factor in how people and businesses grow. :)

I've been blown away by every new item I try from their menu. The very best pizza in Utica and beyond. Every specialty pie is out of this world. I especially like that the boneless wings are made from real, shaved off the bone chicken, and not just frozen breaded nuggets like most places. You can tell everything here is prepared with talent. So many creative flavors and options. Definitely try this place and it'll become one of your favorites!

Pie Squared is one of my in-laws' favorite pizza, not to mention restaurants in general, in Utica. It's a regular go-to option for their Friday and Saturday take-out meals. After trying some of their frozen leftover Pie Squared Pizza slices (which were decent when reheated), I was excited to try them fresh. For Friday night takeout we ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, sausage and green bell peppers. In addition, we ordered a small upside down pizza with pineapple and ham, as well as a small order of 10 garlic parmesan chicken wings. Both pizzas were delicious. Having never tried an "upside down" pizza before, I thought it was novel and interesting, but prefer the traditional kind where I can see the oozing melted cheese. Of the two pizzas, I preferred the meat pizza, since the flavors from the pepperoni and sausage had more of a kick. The pizza crusts were thin (but not super thin) and crispy. I'm not a huge wings fan, but the one I tried was good. I liked the garlic parmesan flavor. The pizza, however, is definitely a winner in the Utica area!

Anthony was awesome! there was issue with my order for pick up at 4:45 due to the oven, and he let me take home to bake with instructions amd supplies including a pizza cutter. very kind service and he only charged 10. and I left with two delicious pizzas that came out great even after baking at home

I was in town on business and stopped in to check it out. Anthony, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Despite being very busy and no apparent help, he was in total control. There was a few people ahead of me and he apologized in advance for the wait. Anthony recommended the square pizza. It was very good and fair price. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in town. Can you imagine how great it would be if he had some good help? Great job Anthony!!!
