Waitress (Sarah) very polite. Had the pretzel the first one was burnt but the owner was very accommodating and made a new. I would say it needed more filling. A friend had the chicken riggies not a cream sauce she did not care for it. The sauce was OK to me, but rather have cream sauce. If I can take a picture I will.

I'm Tim the dishwasher/cook that worked there until I walked out on Oct.24.This is what happened.Me and the bartender got there at 4 which was the time it started.Marisa was to pick up Tammy, the woman that was running the benefit, at 4 she just blew her off cause she was home getting drunk!! Tammy had to get her husband to take her to the restaurant because Marisa was to drunk. The bartender told me she had an argument with her boyfriend, that's the reason for her f@&cking up the whole night!! She finally shows up at the restaurant at 5:15 totally drunk. Now mind you there are over 60 people there and I have no food for them, Zhe comes in the back door, with a dog mind you, and walks around the kitchen and said in fine. Now I have 1 bag of the following 4 items, boneless wings, chix tenders, cheese sticks, and fries. The menu for this benefit also said pizza, I had 4 crushs anough sauce for 1 pizza and 1 hand full of mots. Cheese. When I asked her about it she said I was fine. I went out to the bar and all she was doing was walking around with her dog, she completely ignored me. So I went back to the kitchen, grabbed my sweater and, left.

Went tonight for dinner. Got there at 4:30, they open at 4! Two workers waiting out front. They were waiting for someone to come from a golf course to open the doors. Inside the guy said they had no fish tonight. Ordered chicken and a lasagna dinner. No salads this time here! Had to ask for bread! The guy told us what he could make! Very much down hill from the last time we were there. Other people came in and got up and left when told there was no fish. Not very good for a Friday night.

Called during the week to inquire about their Fish Fry's. The person that answered the phone said they would be open on Friday at 4 and they normally have plenty of fish. Very disappointed when I arrived to find two restaurant workers waiting outside to be let in at 4:30pm. After being seated and getting drinks, we were told that there was no fish. No fish on a Friday in CNY? We ordered Lasagna and Chicken Parm. Not what we really wanted but we were hungry and tried to make the best of it. We were told we would not be charged for any drinks and we were! This place takes the top prize for an award of a poorly run business. Very disappointed.

Ignore the older comments, had one of the best pieces of Lasagna and Shrimp Scampi in the Utica area. Great friendly quick service and prices are right. Try it you won’t be disappointed!

i have never experienced such an embarrassment from a restaurant. From the start the salads were small with maybe 6 pieces of lettuce. we ordered our food before 6:45pm, and waited almost 2 before we asked for bread to compensate for the wait. What came out was a single slice of burnt toast cut up into 5 pieces. I would fully understand the wait if they were busy but there were only two other tables in the restaurant. The bread received was what made us up and leave.

I have been to this restaurant 2 times on a Friday for fish fry with friends and family on both occasions they said their truck didn't arrive and they had no coleslaw. Just recently on June 14th myself and my brother went in and ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered the fresh brewed iced tea but when I got it it was definitely not fresh it was beyond nasty and it's definitely the first time I ordered an "iced" tea and had it served without ice. Spaghetti and meatballs for $18.95 each. Absolutely no sauce on the pasta it was basically canned tomatoes chopped up. Now the meatballs were so tiny I have literally made meat sauce with bigger pieces of fried hamburger not to mention they were burnt. Not to sound like a pig but my damn testicals are bigger than what they served us. The waitress had absolutely no care in the world that we were very disappointed. I forgot to mention all dinners come with salad and Italian bread. The salad was lettuce 2 tomatoes and black olives. No red onion no cucumber but enough dressing for 3 salads. And of course no Italian bread. I wouldn't recommend sending a pig in there to eat the crap they're serving in there. The first 2 pictures are my plate. The 3rd is my brothers plate after getting xtra "sauce" chopped tomatoes and it's still dry.

Went for a early dinner. I had a FRESH haddock fish sandwich that tasted like a frozen dried out piece of fish. The Italian roll tasted like it also had been frozen. My husband had a steak sandwich. The steak was good even though there wasn't much but his roll also tasted like it had been frozen

Chicken Carcone was just warm, It had 2 red peppers and a thick slice of mozzarella which wasn't even melted. It a Italian loaf bun which half of it had a very small piece of chicken so you got more bread than chicken. Not worth the price. My friends had pasta dish which was cold.

A bad vibe. Has gone way downhill since our last visit 2 years ago. Nothing seemed quite right. Food was not hot and lacked freshness. Zero ambience and I thought indoor connected smoking sections were not legal anymore.

I hate doing this but it needs to be said to protect the community. The service in the restaurant was at par level, the atmosphere was a bit dim drab and lackluster. I Ordered an order of long hots and an item on their menu called "the louie". A friend of mine ordered rigatoni with vodka sauce. We sat at the bar for 25-30 minutes waiting for the food. We ordered the food to go as we had plans to watch a movie at home with our meal. As we sat to eat I checked the food. I was outright blown away. The pictures I posted along with this review speak volume. The long hots were $15.95. Two of them came as an order with the smallest portion of whatever stuffing they thought was Italian. Small pieces of sausage littered the flat unappetizing peppers. An overly sweet balsamic glaze was drizzled on the peppers. "the louie" should be renamed to "the fooey", soggy unseasoned escarole with no form of meat, some cherry peppers and a clump of Romano cheese made up this mess of one of our city's staple dishes as dried out chicken lay atop. The rigatoni and vodka sauce came with two meatballs. The rigatoni was overcook and complete mush in the aluminum tray. The vodka sauce was overly sweet and too much vodka was added. The meatballs were raw in the middle as well. Infuriated, my friend and I returned to the establishment and I made it clear to management and the patrons in the dining room that we were served raw meat. I dont know who the cook is in their kitchen, but he could've gotten my friend very sick or possibly even killed her. The owners sister was doing her best to try to keep me quiet as to not let the other patrons hear why I was upset. The cook never showed himself to formally apologize for possibly killing my friend with possible E. Coli poisoning. Being asked if I would like them to make it again or if I'd like a refund I gladly took the refund. Being offered a drink as the owners sister called the owner was easily turned down. The owner never asked to speak to us or formally apologize. To call yourself an "Italian Bistro" is outright blasphemous and disrespectful to prideful Italians that love Italian cuisine. No Italian restaurants I have ever been to serve 2 skimpy long hot peppers with balsamic glaze on them. Anyone that eats long hot peppers, or makes long hot peppers at home know that you stuff the peppers and a form of red sauce belongs atop the peppers. I will never return to this disgraceful shame to Italian restaurants ever again. Shame on you for the lack of pride in your "heritage". I would not recommend ANYONE go to this establishment unless you like to risk your health. Again, I hate writing reviews like this, but when standards are that low and you charge the prices you do it's difficult not to take offense to how you've treated us as customers. You should be ashamed to call yourself an Italian bistro. No self respecting Italian could eat any of the food we were served today. The most edible thing we received was the frozen French fries that I was offered as a side dish to "the louie". Never again. 0/10 Will not recommend.

I would give this Bistro a 0 if I could. Easter Brunch was overcooked and cold. The salad bar was a bag of greens, tuna, baby tomato's and roasted red peppers with two kinds of cheese. Sounds good? Very unappetizing and sparse. Roast beef over cooked, ham dried out, vegetable Luke warm, mashed potatoes really dried out, greens . Pasta undercooked and spent too much time warming up and became hard. Sauces were mediocre. Bread on the table, no butter unless asked for. Dessert table straight from Price Chopper. Rice crispy treats...really???? The room was too small for the amount of table settings. All this for $22....what a deal. NOT. Waitress was fabulous! !
