11/30/2018 - My whole family loves this restaurant! Tonight we celebrated my wife's birthday and were so pleased with the delicious food, the attentive service, and the warm and friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!UPDATE 4/28/2024 - Mughal Palace catered my retirement luncheon and the food and the service were fabulous! This is our "go to" restaurant and we've been going there frequently for 20 years or more. Highly recommended!Vegetarian options: Especially enjoy imli baingan (appetizer), masala dosa, baingan bhurtha, mushroom saag. And they make the BEST mixed pickle. :-)

Food was decent. Staff was pushy to make us leave by 2:00pm well ahead of their 2:30 close time, and rushed us the entire time.

Everything was exceptional! Most importantly, the food tasted sublime. The lamb and chicken tandoori were tender and juicy. The flavor of the spices were amazing. The mango lassi was extra rich and sweet. The naan was warm and soft and buttered to perfection. The samosas were great as well. Best Indian food I’ve had in a while, and I’m definitely coming back in the future.

The owner was so nice and personally delivered us our food. We got Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. Plus Vegetable Samosas. He even threw in a rice pudding for us. Excellent food!

If you want authentic Indian food, this is not the place. They don't know how to make paneer tikka. They put dry orange cubes and onions on a hot plate. Absolutely tasteless. At least they could YouTube on how to make it? Malai kofta was really bad too. Paneer tikka masala was alright but the quantity is disappointing. Not going back.
Location is good, people are super nice. But, the food tastes so-so.

The best Indian mughlai place in Westchester. The food were great, service was top notch. Had the kabab platter, mutton biriyani, garlic naan, butter chicken and all taste great. The malai kulfi ice cream was delicious.

We were passing through the area and stopped and got the lunch special; they required everyone to order a lunch special if we wanted to share with each other. Food and flavor was average. Service was decent; they were very nice and were happy to correct our bill when we noticed there was a mysterious second tax.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Mughal Restaurant located at 16 Broadway, Valhalla, NY 10595. I placed an order through Uber Eats, expecting it to arrive in 30 minutes as indicated. However, after an extensive wait of 2 hours, my order was never delivered. To add to the frustration, the restaurant marked the order as 'delivered' and charged me for it. This misleading and unprofessional service leads me to caution others: beware of ordering from here.

Came in and was told we needed a reservation. We were seated anyway. Then we were told that we needed to order a main course if we wanted to dine in. My family and I left. Place is dated and servers suck. hope it closes down.
