This place is probably the worst spot to get quality Italian food. Their pizza tastes like they poured my shit all over it. Though, the pizza taste like straight garbage, the cooks and the cashiers were friendly. The seating area was good and comfy, the vibes were there.

Always a good deal. Very friendly staff and comfortable restaurant. But a little disappointed this Christmas Eve. Orders took a looooong time to arrive and we noticed a group of apparent friends of the management at another table that arrived after we did, who were served first. And we had hungry little children waiting. Portions were fine overall but pleeeez don't ever order the crab cakes. They were good which was unfortunate because they were the size of a QUARTER! No exaggeration. All in all we'll be back but not for a special occasion.

This place has a lovely, homey feel about it. The service is great, and the owner actually cleared our dishes after we finished the meal and offered us dessert. This definitely feels like a family-run place. The food was exceptional and the price was reasonable compared to other Italian places we've been around here. My husband had the seafood stew, and while it felt more like seafood linguine with red sauce than a stew, he enjoyed it. I had the veal cardinale. As much as my husband enjoyed his seafood, which is why he wanted to try this place, he said my veal was amazing and he was going to get it next time. It was perfectly cooked, with perfect flavor balance. The parmesan potatoes and fresh steamed veggies were a great compliment to the veal, eggplant and prosciutto entree. The portions are huge... maybe a little more that I can comfortably finish, so next time I was to try some of the prix fixe menu, since I assume the entree may be a bit smaller... Appetizer, meal and dessert for a set price that was what my veal cardinale cost. We had cappuccino, tiramisu and chocolate mousse cheesecake for dessert and it was a nice way to end the evening. We just moved to Valhalla and we're very glad this place is just down the street.

We ate at Sergio's this week May 2023 and I believe they need to step up their game. Italian food is meant to have flavor and pizazz. I had the osso buco, one son had spaghetti and another had chicken parmesan. None of the dishes tasted "right". Nothing had flavor.Maybe we got an off day but having been to enough restaurants and after asking the waitress what she liked I am guessing it was business as usual.Hoping for improvement as I know for many this is a local spot that the community including myself would like to support.
