Such a great restaurant with a beautiful outdoor garden. One of the truly authentic Japanese restaurants in Nassau. But the quality of the food is very inconsistent! The fish for the sushi varies and sometimes it is well below par. Barely edible. I have never been to a Japanese restaurant with such a boring selection of rolls and specials. And there's no chicken or steak teriyaki. Their hibachi meats are bland. Very very bland. It's sad but if they were consistent they would be packed.

This place is crazy good for omakase and hibachi. Meaning their omakase is good also means that their sushi and sashimi are super great quality. I know the owner and he's Japanese as well as the chefs so this is about authentic as it can get. Everything is so delicious from the drinks to the food. There isn't anything they haven't perfected. The service is also really great and FAST. The ambience is really nice and spacious even tho there are hibachi grills, love this place :)

My favorite omakase place in Long Island. Everything is fantastic here whether it's the fish to the finishing dessert plates. The chefs are super nice and kind once you get to know them and just have amazing personalities as well as the owner. They really all work hard and give the customers the best service. The ambiance here is really cool because it's a sushi bar along with hibachi grills and not to mention their hibachi is amazing. I love coming to this spot for Omakase, always get excited. It's seems to be super authentic

The ambiance of the restaurant is what drew me there in the first place. The decor was nice. You must have your whole party with you in order to be seated for the show; however, there isn't a show at all. The chef is purely cooking in front of you. That's it and that's all. The food was very mediocre. The sauces that they gave were so thin and watery. The meat had no seasoning at all. The drinks came in very small glasses filled with ice, so I would be wary if ordering a cocktail. My suggestion would be beer or soft drinks. That's more worth the money. It was very quiet and not that much customers inside. Therefore, I couldn't understand why the wait staff wasn't more attentive. No one really checked in on us especially when gratuity is automatically added. I don't believe that even deserved such a large tip. Lastly, you have to pay for dessert. I'm used to getting a free ice cream or orange slices. Here you pay for more than you receive.

There were so many more dishes, but Yelp only allows 10 pictures! This was by far the best Omakase experience I've ever had! Chef Nobu explained every piece. I don't normally like mackerel or Uni, because I find them generally too strong flavored. I gave it a try and I'm so glad that I did. I have become a convert! I'm used to dousing sushi in soy sauce but you didn't need it for most of these pieces. I'm almost afraid to leave this review as there's a limited number of seats at the sushi bar... It looks like they have hibachi here as well which I'm sure is good, but the winner is the Omakase. A lot of sushi restaurants are not serviced by Japanese. This is the real deal! Come, enjoy!

We made last minute reservations for the sushi bar. With such an accommodative atmosphere and great chefs behind the sushi bar. It is a pretty authentic experience in this area of Long Island. Granted, I am not Japanese and have not spent a considerable amount of time in Japan. I would say this is a good example of a Japanese meal.

Food is of the best quality. Staff is very accomodating. If you are looking for a show this isn't the best but the quality and quantity of the food makes up for it.
