Really good food and location!!! Would definitely recommend.

I don’t know why but place closes early on Saturday some times? Today I came at 7:02 and the restaurant was already closed while the sign on the door says it closes at 9pm and online it says it closes at 7:45 pm on Saturdays. This has been the second time this has happened.

I'm not really a chicken fan, but wow - am I a Sound Chicken fan! The chicken is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. This is when delivered - what kind of sorcery IS this? Creative and delicious sauce flavors. Fries are solid. Highly recommend the Sound Hot sandwich, if spicy is up your alley. This is no fast food joint - the quality is high. When people were raving, I assumed it was hype. Nope! All deserved.

Best fried chicken and fries in town. It’s the go-to place when my kids are asking for a special meal. They do Apple Pay too just FYI.

so good I must practice self control or I'd order daily.

I really want to give this place 3.5 stars but Yelp does not allow half stars. Also if just based on food taste alone, it would have been a solid 4-4.5. Unfortunately I'd say the customer service here leaves A LOT to be desired. First off I called to order and the music was so loud in the background that the female who answered kept having to have me repeat myself. Finally she turned it down and I was able to complete my order. I was informed 10 minutes. I took my time getting there, about 15-20 minutes later and my food was still not completely ready. There also was only 2 other patrons in the establishment, both already eating. Then my drink cups were not given until I asked for them. Let's not even talk about this interaction. Guy "where's the order for Simone." Girl who gave me my order "she just picked it up." Him "who her? That's Simone??" (Said with an oh really attitude) Her "yes her". I'm not sure weather or not he knew I could hear him but the place is not that big. Not sure what he was expecting to go with the name Simone, but I'm going to hope in 2021 it's not what I've dealt with from other fairer skins individuals. Mind you, they were all a bunch of college aged looking kids behind the counter. The actual food. The Chicken tenders were great. They were seasoned well, fried well, and just tasty. The fries were also seasoned, they were fried to crispy outside but soft in the middle. Also the sauces were a good variety. I got the Provolone one, Jack's white sauce, and the sweet oblivion which was surprisingly a bit spicy. The food is worth returning for and giving them a service chance.

The place is small and kinda oddly bare. And the menu is pretty spare. And the hours seem kinda short -- it seems like they're always closed. Not sure I understand their business strategy. But they're friendly, and they make a good fried chicken sandwich. Not as good as Pelicana, the Korean fried chicken outlet, but better than average. Fries were good. They have an odd, cone shaped 'tater tot on the menu -- best to skip those and stick with the fries.

Are you ever open???? 1 star review because I tried coming to this place 10 times and their closed every time. Tried placing a Togo order and also haven't had any luck.

Ordered a 6 piece fries with 4 sauces and fountain drink through Doordash. Received an open box of cold fries and tenders minus a sauce. I don't know if the dasher was eating it or it wasn't secured in the first place. Also received a sugar free drink which was NOT ordered. I called the store to provide feedback and asked for a manager. Khaseen the manager got on the phone with the most annoyed and aggravated responses. He talked over me and told me he's not responsible for door dash orders. I explained the box was all the way open and appeared not to be shaped to close at all. I explained the sauce was missing. He stated they ran out. I told him common courtesy would be to call or put in another type. He was so busy talking over me he couldn't receive the feedback. I also explained that I didn't order the diet soda. He said it wasn't diet it was sugar free. Not a humble or pleasant person to interact with. I couldn't believe he was actually raising his voice in the manner that he did. So I don't know how good it tastes but BEWARE OF THE COLA FOUNTAIN SODA AND THE MEAN MANAGER!!!! Sheesh

Great food and service! It was our first time ordering after waking by this place thousands of times. My husband and I couldn't narrow it down so we just ordered one of practically everything and shared. No matter what you order it will be delicious and you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food. Service could use a bit of a tuneup.

Fantastic tasting chicken sandwhich! The owner is a pretty cool dude and was kind enough to let me sample a bunch of their sauces (which all were quite tasty). I wish the bun was different, so that it held up better to the generous portion of chicken and sauces. All in all a great experience ordering from here and will definitely come back for more in the future.

Awesome seasoning on the chicken! Got two orders of tenders with fries, the honey mustard (I think it's called I Need a Hero) was a huge hit. The chocolate soda was interesting, looking forward to trying the other flavors though. We called ahead to order and it was ready within 20 minutes, very easy pick up process and friendly guys working the counter!

Just to start I'll say the food was AMAZING!!! First and foremost, if you're a chicken place, you need good fried chicken. We went a little crazy and ordered several types. All were flavorful but not over seasoned. They were crispy and yet still juicy. Usually when I order tenders I have a certain idea of what I'm getting and it's not usually real chicken that is meaty, juicy and packed with flavor. I could only eat two because there was so much else to eat. If I had the basket of six I'd have been done fir the night and been in a food coma...which was soon to come none the less. All the sauces were unique and delicious. Double dipping was in full effect. No holds barred. I'd tell you the names but I had so many and they were so good I may be suffering memory loss. I saved one tender to make a wrap with today. That's how sizable they were. I saved my sauces too. Mama didn't raise a dope! The fries are really popular and there was a wait for the next batch. I was in a hurry so they gave me the option of something they call "cones". Not a tot and not a knish and not a fry...somewhere in between. Creamy inside like a whipped potato and crunchy on the outside like a tot. They go wonderfully with any of the dipping sauces (did I mention I like the sauces) or your standard ketchup. The crisp first bite yields quickly and gives way to a velvety potato interior. Yes I have leftovers and yes I had them warmed with an egg wrap I made this morning. One order of cones should be good for two people. They're generous with the portions. I was supposed to split the next item with my wife. Things don't always go the way we plan ;) I bought the Chi-Town. It's a slab of fried chicken on a soft roll like what you'd get with a New England lobster roll. There is a sauce they call "sound sauce" , raw white onion, pickled jalapeños and regular pickle chips. Phenomenal!!! Balanced, unique and filling. You couldn't ask for more. To repeat myself the chicken is crispy and juicy and is the star of the sandwich. Every other ingredient is a fantastic supporting cast that do their very best to help the star shine. Luckily fir me my wife was not in the mood for raw onions so I was able to eat the entire sandwich alone. With every bite I was less inclined to share so that worked out perfectly for me. Win-Win! My reviews are always long for one reason. I don't review anyone unless the experience was worth writing about for better or worse. Sound Chicken is definitely doing chicken better. Prices are great and the quality is worthy of a sit down restaurant. I almost put out linens and table settings for take out chicken...'CMON NOW!!!!

Fifth Avenue needed Sound Chicken. It's a lively little spot with a zillion sauces. My family loves the chicken and trying all of the sauces. I heard they just started offering seitan. So excited...
