I'm going to start with yummy! Another fantastic restaurant in New York. Shared pear salad. omg loved so much that I tried to recreate when I got home. I absolutely loved this salad. Shared burrata as well, again, my goodness freaking delicious. For dinner, I had prime steak and mash, which was also very delicious and a fantastic price!!!

A colleague of ours told us about this location in Pelham. We came on a Tuesday and had the raw special which was delicious. The raw special and we had the clams, oysters, tuna, and shrimp cocktail. Then we came another week and we came on a Wednesday and we had the steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. That was also very nice. I do recommend if you’re going to have it medium then requested medium rare, but the flavor was very spot on the service was excellent. The drinks were excellent and it’s a vibe and atmosphere to definitely patronize it and check it out when you have some time and you’re in the area, just parking down in the parking lot

I was taken here for my birthday by my family. Started out great, the Tuna tartar was very good. I was so looking forward to a good steak so I ordered the strip medium rare and it came out well done. I could have sent it back but I never like doing that (you know what they say about doing that). The dessert was good I had the pineapple cake and it was very good. The service was great. I have not decided if I will make a second trip over. I did hear that their brunch is very good.

My family surprised me with a retirement party this past weekend that was a year in the planning. My family selected The Rail House, and did the Restaurant deliver! My sister is a detailed-oriented event planner who was the primary organizer, and Amer Hattar, the General Manager, followed her instructions to a tee. My sister raved about how great he was to work with. The food was fantastic, there was salad, a pasta course with two different pastas, and a choice of three entrees or you could have all three as we had family style service. My friend, Renee who is a talented Italian cooked raved about the cavatelli pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. The pasta was cooked perfectly, not mushy. The three entree choices were chicken, beef and fish. All were flavorful, and the meats were tender and juicy, not easy to do when you’re producing for a crowd. Mr. Hattar had a ton of staff available even with family-style service so any guest request did not go unanswered. The food service was beautifully paced so food came out in between toasts and speeches so that it was served hot. Mr Hattar personally supervised our event and was visible and available. He is a very nice guy, too. The restaurant worked beautifully with the other vendors, the florist and the bakery. It was a flawless event. I recommend this restaurant hands down without reservation for your next event!

I came here this morning around 11 am for my birthday breakfast meal. We ordered the baileys French toast and the eggs Benedict. The Benedict was good. The french toast was literally white sliced bread, including the edge of the loaf, and cooked as “French toast” and soaked in the syrup. Even a local/regular there commented on how embarrassing the french toast was and this local/regular loves this restaurant. Very disappointing experience. To charge $16 for a plate of white bread toasted and soaked in syrup - really disappointing. The local/regular tried to explain that this restaurant’s happy hours and dinners are usually very good and encouraged us to come back and try those instead. Honestly, I could’ve gone to the grocery store and bought better bread and made it for less than the $16 dish cost. Again, cannot believe how disappointing the experience was especially with the high reviews this restaurant has.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I ordered a new york strip steak , spinach, and broccoli and all three things were deliciously and perfectly cooked. Usually when I order strip steak, it's overdone and this was cooked the way that I wanted it. I will return to the Rail House to eat again.

I expected the food to be absolutely divine with taste. To say the least, the food was very bland. No seasoning at all. The drinks were off . Just not a great experience ? for a night out.Parking: A small parking lot but plenty of street parking in the area

Recently had a baby shower for my daughter at The Rail House. The food was delicious, service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Amer is top notch--extremely accommodating from letting us decorate the room the night before, ensuring everything was in order throughout the party, providing gluten free options for one of our guests--truly treated us like family. Would definitely have more parties there as well as lunch or dinner.

Great venue space for any celebration. I happened to attend a one year olds birthday party in one of the rooms & the service was top notch; we felt catered to while also not feeling the presence of the staff. They were just right. The food wasn't bad either. The salmon was a little dry but the other fish option was great as well as the clams & the pasta. The location was nice & the valet parking was efficient. I definitely recommend this place if you are in need of a party space in this specific area.
