I've been a customer of Otto's for over 30 years before Mark Scofield sold it. I just left there after ordering a tuna fish sandwich. While I'm waiting for the sandwich to be made I'm calculating the price of the sandwich I ordered with prices posted on the board which should have been $7.95 with a $3.98 mac salad. I paid $14 and then asked about the price and was told that the computer prices have been changed and they are waiting for the new signs. I tried to explain that they shouldn't charge more until updated prices are posted. The guy behind the counter was less than cordial and suggested that I "take it up with he owner". Don't need to, in the future I'll go to my other stand-by deli - Beck's.

The place use to be good. Now they use one day old bread for their sandwiches. The salads in the case are a least one week old. They don't throw their salad out after a couple of days. I would reframe from the chicken cutlets they sit in the walk-in for at least a week or more. Pretty much the staff that is there is good.

Good basic food,or so I thought. I was told that I could order corned beef Ruben anytime. I went in. Asked for it, the kid had no idea how to make it, not one of you guys noticed! After 15 minutes watching the fiasco, I asked another guy to help him. So, he decided to make it himself. He probably thought he was doing me a favor by adding additional meat. Got home, the sandwich was a big soggy mess! Had to throw it out. I left a private message on your Facebook page, no response. Bad business.

I was on my way to the wantagh library, had some studying to bang out. I just left work and needed to grab food asap. I hate giving new delis a shot to be honest, I stopped at the nearest deli I could find. I figured it was hit or miss... whole staff was cool, down to earth, polite. Chicken cutlet hero's are not easy to master. I don't fake my reviews... I don't get paid for leaving a review, I do it to return respect, for good service. Food was a 9.5 out of 10 easy. Next time I'm trying the panini sandwiches, they looked on point to say the least. Will be back!

Otto's is the best deli on the South Shore! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the store is clean and all sandwiches are made-to-order! 5 stars all around!

Just went to get a sandwich and specifically asked the person to Please Please Please slice EVERYTHING SUPER THIN—-SHRED IT PLEASE! I could tell right away he wasn’t listening and didn’t write anything down—he gave me “PRE” sliced stale Swiss that was 1/8th of an inch thick! You could cut for a salad not a sandwich ! I had to throw it out. 2 out of last 3 sandwiches the bread was stale. I hope the “new” “old” Otto’s on Park Ave opens real soon!! ???

I ordered through Grubhub and they brought our order no issues and when I opened the sandwich it was completely wrong.I called and they would not do anything said go through Grubhub meanwhile they made the mistake not Grubhub. Really bad customer service.And just to be clear I can’t eat seeds and I got a completely seeded roll after stating plain roll. So they do not read the special notes or just don’t care.

Very poor service!!!! Got up to the counter and said to the clerk can I have a cop of ice! He gets the ice and rings me up!! I said why is it a dollar or more than the other day and he says because I have to charge u for the ice!!!!!! I proceed to tell him the drink I just got was not that cold!!!! He proceeds to grab my drink with a glove on and says it is COLD ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!! ??????? WTH????? I would not ever recconend this place!!!
