Restaurantji presents Warwick's standout Mexican dining destinations.
“AMAZING food!! AMAZING service!! Workers are absolutely a joy to interact with. I think everyone should visit this place atleast once in your life, no matter where your from. Truly a life altering experience. I went into a food coma because of how spectacular it tasted. My stomach has a permanent smile, showing all 20 teeth. My tastebuds are replenished. Truly pleased with this experience, since the moment I strutted through the entrance. I trotted to the cash register and left a very generous tip, my love, my presence, and my continuous visits.“
“Adjust your expectations, this is a very simple local place, looks like a repurposed private home, and the menu is quite basic. If you are looking for an authentic atmospheric Mexican meal, then this is not your place. But if you want something that is reasonably tasty, not terribly expensive And pretty flavorful then you should give this place a try. We shared a large and pretty tasty burrito for lunch, seems like we were being waited on by local high school kids, but that was totally fine and we got some chips and salsa which was a nice touch. They also have an assortment of homemade salsas that were pretty good and packed with flavor. Not bad… If I’m looking for a simple meal when I’m in the area, I will try it again.“
“Just moved to the area a month ago and was in search of a place that had taco Tuesday. This hidden gem was amazing. Fresh tacos! Fresh homemade salsa!! They have a Mango Orchata!! ?. Definitely need to give this place a try if you haven’t! Don’t get it confused with the El zapata in Middletown. This is Zapata 3 in Chester.(want to make sure that I am reviewing the correct location)“
“I have been living upstate for about 8 years now and this place has to be hands down the best Mexican food! Marcos the owner is amazing and professional, and the food is the best I have had in Orange County in a long time. From there salads to there tacos to there main dishes you can not go wrong. ( guacamole is a must). The drinks are poured perfectly and the inside has an amazing atmosphere to it. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t find parking cause of the small village of Chester and Main Street espically with rustic wheel house across the road. But that not an issue, there’s a huge parking lot in the back with ample parking. If your looking for a great night out with friends, family or whom ever you can not go wrong with taco express and you sure will leave extremely happy and satisfied with the food and service“
“Love the food and the service here. However, the atmosphere needs some work. Lights are so bright. This is a great spot but the lighting makes the atmosphere feel so uncomfortable. My friend and I met here to catch up and we felt as if the lighting was disturbing. But overall we love the food here and the service. Drinks are great!“
“Super cute and small diner! Incredible service , our waiter was quick and efficient and also very friendly. My son had dance practice nearby and it was perfect for lunch. It wasn’t busy at all, yet a decent amount of people there. Despite it being a smaller restaurant with a few of the tables filled, we got our food within less than 10 minutes, and everything was super delicious!Moving on, the decoration was so cute! I loved the interior and decor, lights weren’t too bright, music wasn’t too loud: and a decent amount of space as well! The food definitely reached higher compared to me and my sons expectations, we’ve been to a ton of diners in the area and this one was absolutely phenomenal! We will definitely be returning! I definitely recommend this diner to anyone in the area. ❤️“
“This place is Mexican home cooking at its best. I don't live in the area, and my husband (a harsh food critic on the variable of authenticity) frequently requests that I bring food from Angelita's home to Manhattan. That should tell you a lot right there. In response to the person who complained that it's not truly a dine in place, I suggest that they think a little bit outside of the box. What I love about Angelita's 's is that when I do sit down and eat there, I feel as though I am enjoying my meal in a homey, warm kitchen. If you are in or near Goshen and want a home cooked Mexican meal, head straight to Angelita's 's.“
“I recently dined this Mexican restaurant and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and a great atmosphere.“
“This place deserves 5 stars and more. Went there for pre dinner before my new year’ eve. Food drinks and service were impeccable. True authentic Mexican place. I forgot the name of our waiter but he was wearing glasses, super kind super gentle and attentive. I would definitely come back to gochen just for this “
“If you're looking for real authentic Mexican cuisine this is not the place. Decent American style Mexican food. But a killer Happy hour and taco Tuesdays all day, half price Street tacos and margaritas. Bartenders are fun characters too.“
“This is the most authentic Mexican food that I have had in Orange County ny. When you walk to the back you can see the family making the food for you.loves it! Only reason I didn’t give them five stars is because when you call to place an order they never answer“
“Tried this small, humble place for the first time yesterday. Appearances can be deceiving. Everything is super fresh and lovingly prepared. And fast too. For example, the quesadillas had nicely pulled pieces of chicken that mixed evenly with the melted cheese. Other places always just put the chunks and it ends up lumpy and dry.“
“The decoration is beautiful, and it's set up in a way where even if it's packed, it doesn't feel crowded or overwhelming. The food and service was great and I had a great time there with my friends. It's also cool that if you're upstairs playing pool or darts, there's a screen where you can order food and bring it up.The only downside I can think of, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that it's a whole flight of stairs and not very accessible/ inclusive for wheelchair users.“
