“Off the hook! Good food in a nice setting with really polite help.“
“I came here as part of a north fork vineyard tour. This was the second stop and there were a few things that made it different from the others.I really enjoyed the wine but the presentation of it took away from the experience. We had the wine in plastic cups, which was a bit odd. The vineyard was beautiful and there was a ton of space to roam around. They had live music but it got drowned out by the other sounds. Tip; this place lets you bring outside food! I really liked all the wine especially the blueberry one which comes with a piece of chocolate.“

“Every time I’ve ordered food from here it’s been great, consistently good each time. Everything is always full of flavor, the portions are generous and the prices are great too! The restaurant is always clean and everyone is friendly. If you’re looking for a good Chinese takeout spot out east I recommend No. 1 Chinese “
“Pit stop at a wine vineyard on the way to Montauk is a good idea. I guess it is off season now so not a lot of people on Saturday plus I get there early. Even it in September but the weather is still very hot. We get wine testing course $16 each not include some snacks. Live music on, poor puppy is so hot but they have cold water so it help a lot. Nice sipping wine and see peaceful view.“
“My boyfriend and I come to Wölffer Estate Vineyard from time to time and always have the best experience and excellent service. This past weekend we decided to try something new and got on a wine tour with our guide, Fairly. She was extremely wonderful and very knowledgeable. We loved Fairly’s positive energy and enthusiasm. My boyfriend and I had the best memorable experience at the vineyard :)P.S. I recommend their new Summer in a Bottle “Long Island” rose 2023. I am still amazed by how good it was.“

“Usually very reliable, but an 18 minute wait (yes, girl I timed it) for a 9:00 reservation is just not cool. Grit in my mussels, half of which hadn't opened and the artichoke was, well, very large. My friend's pasta looked like your sink drain catch after a dinner party wash up. Burger was delicious and the fries!! Great fab gay hang, go for drinks! And say hi to Allie, the best server in town! Owner is a sweetheart and very popular!“
“This is a perfect vineyard to start your day off at. I personally can't drink red wine at noon so bubbly is a much better choice for me. Our server was knowledgeable and it was a gorgeous day to sit outside and look at the vineyard. The wine flight was yummy too.“

“Food and service was wonderful!“
“I came here as part of a wine bus tour. It was my least favorite of the three wineries we visited. We felt like just a number here, as it wasn't a very personalized experience. An employee came on to our bus to welcome us but after that, we were pretty much on our own. We tasted four wines, which were served in plastic cups. Other than brief descriptions printed on a sheet on the serving tray, not much information was shared about the wines. You could purchase hot dogs here as well as "sangria," which was basically just a rose spritzer. We walked through the vineyards but they were not as picturesque as other spots. One nice touch was that there was a band playing live music. It's a decent place to visit and a nice outdoor option to get out of NYC but wouldn't be at the top of my list to return to.“

“Delicious! We like to explore the east end in the off season. Plentiful hiking and no crowds. We popped in right before a traditional dinner time and were treated like we were regulars. Started off with pillowy garlic knots that were extra garlicky. Our meals were top notch: huge portions of salmon that were perfectly cooked. Our son had spaghetti topped with huge meatballs. Almost too stuffed for dessert but we couldn't pass up the chocolate chip cookies we saw when we walked in. Couldn't have been happier with a nice end cap to the weekend.“
“Fun spot for a casual tasting! 5 wines for $15 with generous pours. Service was quick and you could sit anywhere (you do not need to stand by the bar counter)! There was live music on the outside patio until 5p and it was super enjoyable and relaxed. Of the wines, I found some whites too tart and some reds too astringent but there are no hills on LI for the flavors other wines develop. Otherwise, it was a good spot to just relax, and I would come again to try some more wines and enjoy good company and music!“

“We love the spot. The pizza is delicious, I had the mushroom gorgonzola for the first time and it was phenomenal. Super fresh and made the order. The garlic bread is wicked. AND the steak was SO GOOD! Its all good. Everything I’ve had here is great.“
“Fantastic! Went here after a bad experience at the Greenport location and didn't have high hopes. Boy was I surprised. Staff was friendly and quick with the orders. Beer and food was great. Fun atmosphere, perfect for families. Weather was great and we sat outside. Plenty of seating. All around would recommend if you are in the area! This is definitely the best of the bunch.“
“Nice winery in Long Island. Each part of the winery has its own character, and they have different seating arrangements for groups of 4-8. The wines & charcuterie boards are on the pricey side. We got the White wine tasting menu. It was 38$ and we got to taste 9 different wines. They were all quite good. The service was Aok. The negatives were the porta potty situation and the cash only tips. They should get real bathrooms and not many people have cash with them. Overall it was a good experience.“

“Stumbled by this bistro in Southampton and decided to go in for lunch. To our pleasant surprise we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine pairings suggested by our server, we loved our lunch so much we decided on having dinner at their NYC location the next evening, needless to say it was magnificent! Looking forward to trying the other locations….“

“Beautiful winery, the building is so gorgeous and authentic. People here really create an atmosphere and provide amazing experience for customers and club members. They have cute little shop with pretty souvenirs and some things you just must have at your kitchen. Wine and food platters are divine. I really love that they have outdoor sitting in the summer period.“

“went with 2 other people, and one of the burgers was undercooked (she asked for no pink and there was a lot of pink). the cheese part of the mac and cheese was pasty, like it was a bechamel sauce with extra flour on instead of a mornay sauce, aka they did the flour butter and milk but added no actual cheese to it. the fries were tasty and the burgers were well seasoned. i wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here again.“

“My wife and I visited yesterday. My wife had been there before, but it was my first trip.Great bar, enough sports to make me dizzy, some of the very best chicken wings and flashpanned calamari I’ve tasted on Long Island, but what really made our time memorable was our bartender Todd.Warm, welcoming, and generous in his hospitality. I found my new favorite place.“

“Cove Hollow is a home run! Table was ready even though they were busy. Waiter was adorable and helpful and got all modifications right in our orders. The two things he recommended that we order were fantastic. All of the food from the bread to the salad to the Mahi Mahi and tuna burger and fries and onto the brownie were divine, flawless. Great ambiance and decor. Lively and fun with familiar faces. Prices were not too bad. Cannot wait to come back!“

“Good place to get baked goods. The croissants are ok but not great. They carry a lot of varieties of their cookies, many of which you can't get elsewhere. They have good chai and a variety of hot drinks. There is no place to sit inside. There is a medium sized parking lot.Vegetarian options: It's a bakery. It's all vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: They have a large selection.Parking: Medium sized parking lot in the back.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family.Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access.“

“We had a wonderful dinner here tonight. Amanda was ou server and she was friendly, pleasant & attentive. The food was fantastic. I had the halibut special. It was excellent. The best halibut I’ve ever had. My husband had the shrimp scampi which he said was very flavorful. The shrimps were large. He also ordered the buffalo wings, which he enjoyed. We look forward to the next time we’re in Southampton so we can enjoy Shippy’s again.“
“I'm tickled by all the reviews that inform us that this is "Americanized Chinese food," as if there wasn't an entire network of these restaurants and that wasn't the norm. The prices here seem to incrementally increase, but the food is still relatively inexpensive and it is exactly what you think it is. Get: The shrimp egg rolls here are old school, loaded with shrimp and quite tasty. Meh: The hot and sour soup is loaded with stuff (mushrooms, tofu, egg, bamboo shoots, what I think is pork), but it's not really hot or sour and it has too much corn starch. I'd probably try something else next time. I ordered the General Tso's chicken because of someone else's review, and it was fine. But again, I'd probably try something else next time. It was loaded with crisp, not overcooked broccoli (yay!) and the texture was good. But again, not spicy. There was an overabundance of corn starch and sweetness, but it held up well for leftovers. I will definitely work my way around this menu and find my favorites. This place has been around forever but I hadn't tried it before. I like that they don't give you a thousand plastic utensils. You pick up sauces at a side counter and there are chopsticks in the drawers. There are no tables to eat inside, but you can take it home or eat in the park nearby. If you call ahead, your order will be ready by the time you arrive and identified by your phone number. Cash only.“
“East End Clambake catered my daughter’s and my mother’s joint birthday party in my backyard in July. I cannot describe how amazing and wonderful they were every step of the way. We ended up renting chairs and tables as well as went with the The East End Lobster Bake package, with fried chicken (the only catered who offered this as an addition to lobster!) Patricia coordinated everything and really made it so very easy. I can’t remember the two women who came to the event along with the chef but they really out themselves, our 60 guests were truly delighted and the food was incredible. No one left hungry, that is for sure!!!! They really know how to run a smooth operation and all of the staff were so lovely to work with. They are absolutely the best!!!!“
