Looks like nothing from the outside but inside is cozy and spick & span. Up to date tables & chairs give this tiny tavern a happy feel.We are traveling the canal this summer?️ & read the great reviews on the food, so gave it a try. The FOOD here! We thought we'd be getting wings at a dive bar, but instead we recieved beautifully presented pasta with homemade sauces and sweet potato pancake with andouille-mushroom sauce, topped with pierogi.Don't skip their bread pudding with whiskey sauce! This place is a hidden gem.

Having heard so much about this place I had to see what was going on. I was blown away by the combination of the character, setting, food of this bar/restaurant and overall friendliness of the owners. In many ways I felt that I had walked into the owners living room albeit decorated with numerous penguin figurines. I must say they didn't look too angry. And neither did anyone else for that matter.
