Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! Had a fish fry and the cat wouldn't even eat the fish. It had a bad taste to it. Cole slaw was not good either. The only thing good was the lemon wedge and the tartar sauce. So sorry but I won't be back.

I thought this PUB was still the same place I had experienced several years ago. Back then, extensive and tasty bar menu, house made potato chips (best I ever had). I'm sad to say this pub now IS NOT that. The food now is very poor. When you are told that menu items are not available because basic ingredients are not available you recognize you have made a bad choice of eateries. The wait service was excellent... can't blame the waitress so I don't want to throw shade on her. But the restaurant needs so much improvement on so many levels I cannot recommend it, in good conscience.

I hadn't been there since pre-COVID so I called beforehand. You used to be able to add a patty to a burger for $1. The female answering the phone it's now $2. I went in, ordered a beer and ordered my doubleburger. After a few minutes I was informed the extra patty was now $4. I mentioned I called before coming and was told $2. It didn't matter. I cancelled the food, paid for the beer with a $1 tip and will never be back. #winning

Some guy passed out when we were there. Laying on the floor in front of the bar. We left.

My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to find that Empire Pub serves food till late night (1am). Since Covid it seems that everything in Rochester is shuttered by 8 or 9pm. We tend to eat later and after driving by so many times decided to try the Pub. It is now owned by Bill Trakosis (also the owner of the Nutcracker Family Restaurant, on Empire Blvd). The food and service were great and prices were certainly reasonable. We will be back many times!

Big review guy. Let me tell you, this place is full of good energy. The owner hung out with us, the bartender Taylor might be the top 2 jk top bartender of all time. She will make you feel like family. What an amazing place. With really good food. Also drinks are fair so come here and enjoy a good time. Most reviewers are angry elfs don't listen to people who are angry. Come to empire and have fun gotta play dragons ascent. Could win never know... stay happy thanks for a good time

It's a dive bar so, you get what you get. The staff was incredibly nice , and it did have that cozy dive bar feel. The food took about 40 minutes to come out - 2 burgers- there were maybe 10 people there and no one else eating- so it seemed like a long time. My bf was kind of upset to find out a draught IPA beer was $7 a glass. A small burger meal for two people ended up being $50 , which is a lot by any standard really. The real insult was the generic ketchup. Just give us some Heinz.
