The food was very good .I was there for a baby shower.only thing was the waitresses were practical taking the food out of my mouth to clean up ..they took my salad I had one bite of .my entree iwas in the middle of eating and they asked if I was doneA little while later they asked me again I told them to just take it..I had 2 sips of my coffee .went to bathroom my coffee was gone

I cannot say enough about our experience with Gemelli's at Bergen Point. This past weekend we had my daughter's Sweet 16, and it was amazing! Linda and her husband Vincent are not only the nicest, most professional people, but they were just amazing to work with and they made my daughters day so special. The decorations (designed by the.partyfairies - Instagram name) were magical and the food was sooooo good! If you are looking for a great venue, you have found the place!

Our son's wedding was there this weekend. Everything was perfect!!! Beautifully decorated room by the owner's wife Linda. Kudos! The food was amazing, best rice balls on the planet! The wait staff was attentive, the bar staff was friendly and quick. It was clean and everything went smoothly. We don't have a bad thing to say about this venue. The owner, Vincent, was a pleasure to deal with and did everything he promised. We loved this place. Thank you to Vincent, Linda, Kristen and the whole staff for such a memorable event.

On October 1, 2022, our daughter’s wedding celebration was held at Gemelli’s Bergen Point Country Club. We worked with Vincent who shared his knowledge and experience with us while offering his professional recommendations we made some changes, and the results were fantastic. He was able to agree and work with us on reasonable changes to incorporate our daughters’ requests. The package we took had more than enough food wine beer soft drinks and cocktails. The food was delicious, and we have received so many calls and messages letting us know. We had an indoor ceremony and from the start to the end everyone had a great time.
The deco arrangements at Gemelli’s “The Party Fairies” are incredible in designing the theme. They created an arbor for the ceremony which was a perfect backdrop and then it was moved behind the bride and groom for the reception. Our daughter presented a theme with them, and they ran with the idea then suggesting centerpieces, to hanging lanterns, to table items it all came together, and the hall/room was beautiful. I strongly recommend Gemelli’s Bergen Point for a wedding, but they are very diversified from birthday parties to fund raisers they will not disappoint you.

Had to jump on here after an amazing day at Bergen Point Golf Course. Until today it was the only Suffolk County course not on my "resume." I had always avoided it because of the "dog track" label that was stuck to it many years ago. The is far from to at description let me tell you. Beautiful fairways and greens and let me tell you, plenty of trouble to be aware of regarding hazards. I had booked the round on Monday and never thought to read any reviews because a fellow golfer at Timber Point last week raved about it. Well Lou, you were spot on, and all the 1-star reviews I read yesterday couldn't be more wrong. Between the negative comments about the track and the staff things couldn't have been more opposite of what I read. Gone are the crappy tee boxes and fairways and also gone it seems are the cranky pro shop staff. I got there a bit late for our 12PM tee time (11:35) and the next thing I know the starter says "you're on deck!?" What happened to all the comments about "plan to wait for nearly an hour past your time?" I had to scramble to get my clubs, shoes, cart, you name it. Played with two regulars (Bob and Tracy) who were fun to join up with and valuable when it came to their course knowledge. Truth be told, I cleaned out my bag on the front nine losing about 4 balls but that was on me. Back 9 improvement of 10 strokes showed I was starting to enjoy the place and get rid of the out of the car blues! Will definitely come back but will keep my eyes out for those hazards. Enjoy Bergen Point, a Suffolk gem!
