Besito has done a great job transitioning to the south shore. The atmosphere is different from the Huntington location, but only in a way that makes it feel like it's always been in West Islip. The food is superb, and although the menu doesn't highlight this, their complimentary tortilla chips and salsa are homemade, and it shows. What an amazing place and vibe. Just be careful with the fundido skillet, it is super hot and they don't cover the handle, so you can get easily distracted and burn yourself like I did. Lol. In all fairness they warn you it's hot. Fundido.. delicious. We can't wait to go back. Cocktails were amazing.
