“When it comes to eating, this place has that Sonic Drive-In/Friendly's vibe; the food (burgers, fries, chicken, etc.) may not be something to write home about (much of it is "alright" at best) but the desserts (ice cream, shakes, malts, floats, etc.) is where the menu truly shines! Each ice cream concoction (including one of my faves, Rocky Road) is stuffed to the brim with mix-ins and the shakes are just the right kind of thickness.The girls who served my friends and I were very friendly with warm smiles and polite suggestions to get the most out of our eating experience. They even let me sample a flavor of their ice cream (after which I knew I was getting dessert with my meal!) so I knew what I was in for.The ambiance has that charming Pizza Planet vibe to it (If you've seen the movie "Toy Story" you get it!) filled with outer space decor and space-themed names for the menu items making it very family-friendly. If it had an arcade (or at least just a few cabinets), that would be pretty cool! (I'm not knocking points off for that one btw!)The place is definitely a good place for quality desserts and customer experience. As for lunch or dinner, it's good but I'm pretty sure your local diner may satisfy you a bit more. Overall, I highly recommend anyone to give Cosmos a visit!Kid-friendliness: The outer-space decor screams kid-friendliness and so does the customer service of the employees.“

“I did a take out order at the East Islip location. The food was good but the super melts do not seem to have much meat on them like they use to. If the prices are going up with less portions that’s going to be a problem for Friendly’s. I would hate to see them go out of business because I love Friendlys too!!“

“This place was pretty good. It could definitely use some tidying up, but other than that the ice cream was amazing. It was a really good spot for us to visit while we were visiting Long Island. The service was great and the ambience of the ice cream shop was definitely old school. we will definitely be back again when visiting the area.“

“The best Carvel store anywhere. Secret, Soft serve large is BOGO everyday of the week, just ask for it. On most days there are SIX different dift serve flavors. The same Family operated business for years. The young employees working at the counter are always courteous and polite. This place gets packed certain times of the night but the lines move fast. They'll also accommodate your special ice cream cake orders. Hard scoop ice cream is available. Freezer cases always has an assortment of ice cream novelties.“

“So glad we went! My wife and I came in thinking we would try the place out for hamburgers. Thanks to our superb waiter (I believe his name is Marty), he told us about the special that they had, and it was too good of a deal to pass up. The chicken sandwich was delicious, and truth be told would have been well worth it at the regular price, but as a special, it was a steal!For an app we decided to split the pretzel. It was quite large, had great dips to go along with it, and came out warm, fresh, and perfect.The chicken sandwich (we both ordered it) was flavorful and moist, and great sauces to accompany it, which we enjoyed with the French fries. We could not finish it all, but that did not stop us from enjoying the milk shakes at the end.I'm so grateful for the waiter telling us about the special, and he was extremely attentive and personable. I was provided 2 servers and a bartender and they began working immediately upon arrival. They were all professional, courteous and extremely pro-active! “A genuine heaven for ice cream lovers for all tastes, even with dietary differences! Everything is obviously homemade, which is hard to find even in great ice cream parlors. The hardest part is choosing what to get! I've had a chocolate root beer float, which was blended perfectly, a salted caramel shake, sublime and flavorful, and a classic banana split, which blew me away. It may be quite a ride from where I live, but when out this way, I highly recommend Sweet Sensations! I've turned friends on to it as well, and it's settled; whether you're vegan or not, have food allergies or don't, you're guaranteed a good time! Not living in the area and visiting, it can be overwhelming how much Babylon town has to offer, especially food-wise. However even on cold days, I make this place a priority! Place is clean and the freezers are well stocked with cakes, flying saucers etc. I have a Carvel closer to my home, but the people there aren't as nice. I would much rather travel a couple of extra minutes and give this establishment my business.“

“Love the flavors of the ices and ice creams. The staff is really nice and they work hard. Gotta tip them. We had the specialty sundaes only once and we both thought they were way too heavy on toppings and sweet sauces and not enoughice cream... made us a little nauseous, so we'll stick to the basics. Also disappointing how some of the flavors run out, but they have so many great options that the pain doesn't last long.“

“This is one of "Best" Ralph's Famous Italian Ice store on Long Island. This location has had a complete makeover. You can now go inside to order or just go thru the drive-thru. There are benches and seating outside. The staff is by far some of the friendliest, especially the 2 boy cousins. Great Job!“

“Today I ordered a waffle cone and a few quarts. Everyone working there was so kind to my daughter and I. They had great customer service, it was very clean, and everyone was so respectful. They have so many flavors of ices/ice creams that you can't even imagine, which are all out of this world!! We have been going for years and it has definitely improved so much!“

Sometime there is an overwhelming chemical smell in the shop. It smells like bug spray but the shop itself seems clean so maybe it's cleaning product. I have a hypersensitive sense of smell so it could just be me, but it makes me apprehensive.“
