I had tripe tacos, which were big and tasty. The server took a few minutes to take my order, and the restaurant was cold, but the temperature was corrected after a while. The TV was also loud. I had only eaten there once, but I would definitely return for more tacos.

We did takeout from el nopal over the weekend. It was just OK. The chicken in the quesadillas was a little too chewy but good flavor. The beef in the tacos was tough and grizzly but again, the flavor was amazing. The bean and cheese papusas were the best part of the meal. We were disappointed.

Stopped in to grab some quick Mexican food. The service & staff were very welcoming and food was tasty. We decided to get drinks to go while we waited for our food, but I wish we didn't. The passion fruit margaritas were very sour. Maybe next time I will give something else a try. I would be going back for the food, though, for sure. Got the chicken quesadilla and shrimp tacos, very flavourful.

I was looking for a spot to eat after taking an exam and stumbled upon this little gem. It's cute and cozy, the waitress was very friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the carne asada tacos and they were delicious. I will be back.

El Nopal is an excellent Mexican restaurant in town. The food is fresh and flavorful, the service is attentive, and the ambiance is lively. The taco special is a must try, and the margs are always on point. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

The food was amazing! This was my first time eating here and I ordered the Birria Tacos. OMG! They had so much flavor! Amazing food. I would totally go there again. The dish consisted of three tacos and I really didn't need to eat the third, but out of fear it wouldn't reheat well I stuffed myself on the last one because they were just that tasty. For a drink, I ordered horchata. I'm not sure if they make their own or not, but this stuff was the best I've ever had. And it came in a gigantic mug, which I finished all of. The service was a bit slow, but there was a large party in there when we walked in, and I think one of the cooks was out/late. Someone I assumed to be an owner came in, got to work on the grill to get the rest of the orders out, and then came around to ask if we were enjoying everything, so I won't hold this against the place unless it happens the next time I go. The overall atmosphere was pleasant. Nothing amazing. Your general run-of-the-mill Mexican place. It was clean and colorfully decorated. Overall, I liked the place and will definitely be going back.

Casyal.atmosphere. This place has great food. Everything is fresh and cooked to order, even tortilla chips. Margaritas do the job as well.
